What do you think about the possibility of using E26 bulbs in them?
I don't think it's possible. Right now I have E12 bulbs in there. In that case there's no way E26 should fit.

Do you know if you can tape down the extra wire surrounding the lamps?
They are on the heavier/thicker side, but sure you can. It just might look a little silly. Thanks for watching!
Can the lamp heads be placed vertically? (Completely)
They can get very close to vertical but no quite. The thick wires sort of get in the way between the lamp and the mounts.

How do you turn on a d off the lamp?
Each bulb has a toggle type button on the back. So you have to switch them individually. So it's more work but you also have the freedom to use more or less light.
Small buttons on the backside of each spotlight.
Please do dismantling tutorial
