As Andy picked the holiday cards my boss walked in and gave me a Christmas card I was like lol and she looked at me funny when Andy said they are the worst
As I was listening to the draft and antlers on cars came up i literally see a mini van pulling into work with antlers then I proceeded to notice all the cars with it lol
Bowling is a lot harder than you give it credit for. Yes, anyone can bowl a strike, but how many can you string together? How accurate are you with spares? How consistent are you? The lane conditions and oil patterns change from day to day and from bowling center to bowling center. There is a lot that goes into figuring out how to throw the ball. Speed and angle of the ball into the pocket is what generates strikes. You may have bowled a 200+ game, but doing it repeatedly takes a lot of skill. Also, new players in the bowling circuit, check out Jason Belmonte. He throws the ball with 2 hands and is incredible.
I am from Canada and curling is hard as shit and love to see these guys do curling and do triathlon who they make fun. Jason curling is a laugh. I barely bowl and can hit a bunch of strikes. Love to see Jason curl any Canadian in Arizona take him curling he won't get out of the hack. There is big money is curling cause it is a TON of fun!!
57:21 candy hearts aren’t rocks or chalks. They’re heaven’s candy. So good and not even that hard (compared to a peppermint which is like a literal rock). I like peppermints, but they are 10x harder.
I can relate to the basketball situation. In freshman year, 28 freshman went to try out. I remember being significantly better than two of the players that made the A team. My young heart was very hurt back then.
Ugly sweaters: Buy one at Goodwill on Dec. 1 and then donate it to Goodwill on Dec. 26. You're no longer taking up closet space for the other 11 months!
In 8th grade basketball, I won MVP, but got passed over for the All Star game for the coach's son (who scored more points against us than he did for us, no joke)... I feel Jason's pain!
I'm from Canada and curling is actually harder than you think. I rarely play but it's a pretty big sport here and many other parts of the world. I think you should give it a try some time!
The health plan Jason described sounds like it's probably OPTAvia which is what I'm on and I agree with everything he said. But down 135 lbs so I'd say so far, it's worth it.
It's an old "fact". Original estimates of Pluto's surface area had it less than the surface area of Russia. More recent calculations have Pluto's surface area a bit higher than Russia's.
I'm with Jason and Andy on the politics thing. I played baseball when I was younger and was the best player in the league. I played catcher for the Green Team, batted .666 (yes, i know), and drove in 128 runs. I should point out that I was only 12 years old playing with 17 and 18 year olds because parents of the kids my own age always complained that I was too good to play with their kids (true story, not bragging at all). I was put on the Black Team the following year. I wound up being benched the whole season because the coach of the traveling league was also the coach of the Black Team, so he started his traveling team catcher over me because he favored him. That was my last year of little league. I was without a doubt better than all those kids, but favoritism relegated me to the bench. Many years later, I tried out for a traveling league (unaffiliated with my little league). There were over 100 kids there trying out. It just so happened that the guy running the team knew who I was from my little league days (but I didn't know him). He saw my name, called me out, and told me I didn't have to try out. He put me on the team immediately.
BREAKING NEWS: As I listen to these guys debate being a pro bowler vs Olympic curler, cracking jokes about the silly Olympic sports, the Olympic Committee just announced breakdancing is officially named an Olympic sport. Time to dust off my adidas tracksuit, I'm ready to pop & lock my way to gold!
WOW!!! You guys are a big let down on this episode. Big let down! Curling is absolutely incredible! The disrespect for it is saddening, even if it's due to your ignorance of the sport. It is huge! Won't give you a thumbs down but extremely close. Show sucked.
The pumpkins don't rot fast when you live somewhere that practically freezes them lol
I appreciate the consistency for always uploading at 630 ET
Yes
I love living in a world where Owl is still undefeated.

I love that Mike calls the rock a puck lol
Also from Canada love how they are just clueless 😂
Just put the Elf in jar and say it needs to Quarantine for 2 weeks 😂
I love the Jason scats
Mike: Loves Christmas
Also Mike: Hates people singing Christmas songs and celebrating Christmas
You can love Xmas and hate certain activities lol
Didn't say you couldn't. Pointing out the irony that one would be all in on Christmas and yet be bothered by carolers.
@@tylerwalker3512 was being a little tongue and cheek as well... after all it is a comedy podcast bro
The moon is roughly 4 times larger than Pluto.
Great show guys! Lots of laughs! Great time! Much needed during the Christmas 🎄 time! THANK YOU!
Andy! That was your best scat in a long time! You're overthinking it when it's your turn - just let your heart guide you, man.
Just when I didn’t think i could be a bigger fan of Jason, he says golf is the hardest sport ever. Smart man
How did White Elephant survive to the last round haha. It's THE WORST

Would you rather: give up breakfast food lunch food or dinner food

Super Bowl Sunday should be a holiday
As a Canadian I would love to say curling is an amazing sport!!! Loved by lots up here!!!!
And is a very difficult/prestigious sport in Canada.
I watch curling and think to myself, if I practiced every day for 6 months I'd probably be world class.
I finally did it, I beat Owl! I was trying so hard to tell Andy to pick rush... he still can't hear me tho lol
The moon is about the same surface size as Pennsylvania
I was 2nd grade bowling state champ...I rethinking my life decisions now! Should of stuck with it
All this time I thought you were a Seinfeld fan Andy. It was Kenny Rogers Roasters not Kentucky Fried Chicken...
So funny guys and yes covid killed birthday candles! No more eating spit cake! 🎂

I bowl and curl and let me tell you, curling is so much cooler 🤣
Is it just me or did andy just say "lets keep this TRAIN on the ROAD"
Does that make sense to anyone
Its at 2:09
I'm in my mid 50s, Andy - man up! Love you guys. Makes my Mondays tolerable.
Wait, I looked it up Pluto does have more surface area than Russia

I would have beaten owl, I’m a winner in my heart
I love me some fruitcake. I'm not saying it's good.... Just saying it's good.
It's cake, booze, nuts and candy. How did it catch such a bad rap?
I think because it resembles throw up in a cake form
Never heard of white elephant ???
0/3 Good job Owl.
Update 1/4
as a laker fan i hate green
Would it be a bad thing to win this draft?
🤔
Hey, the whisper didn’t work because I’m a kid!
I learned today these guys know nothing about pro bowling. #NotSorry
Worst draft ever.
And yet, still the best podcast
