YOU ARE AMAZING!!! (as i have commented on the other 4 videos!!!) thank you so much for putting in all this effort and time! you have helped over 40,000 people learn this subject! so on behalf of those who didnt comment; THANK YOU
I LOVE YOU THANK YOU SO MUCH. My teacher didn't explain this clearly. She just told us and as if we we're suppose to naturally memories this, like was I missing something... Thank you !
@Mark Uy, A convex lens is a converging lens, a convex mirror is a diverging mirror. A concave lens is a diverging lens and a concave mirror is a converging mirror. It is a little confusing to keep straight.
Thank you for making this video and the other for a concave mirror. My teacher didn't explain it well enough for me to understand it. This really helped!
dude i just want to say that you're the reason im passing, and also doing well in physics. You explain everything so well and clearly. I went from getting 3/10 on a quiz to getting 87.5% on a big test just 2 days later and every time since then as long as i use your videos to study I do very well. I can't thank you enough for them and the fact that its all free amazes me, so thank you!
+Jesse Daniel It is great that you are doing better and I am glad that you find the videos helpful. Thanks for letting me know. You can see a listing of all my videos at my website, www.stepbystepscience.com

This video is very useful. This same thing was explained 4 times in school , but I didn't understood , but this help understood so easily......THANKYOU.......................
You are an amazing teacher!. You are a trillion times better than my physics teacher in school. I didn't understand it at school properly and then because of you I learnt it. Have an awesome day ahead 😊😊😁
Right after you did the diagram at f you said if the image is at 2f there is no image. 7:11 I saw in another video that you corrected your mistake. Thank you for making all of your videos, they have really helped me!
You are right about the location of the object and image (very good), but binoculars are not quite that simple. Binoculars and refracting (lens) telescopes use a combination of lenses to produce a magnified image.
THANK YOU SO MUCH IF IT WASN'T FOR YOU I WOULD GET LOW MARKS IN MY SCIENCE EXAMS BUT BECAUSE OF YOU I GOT EVERY LENS QUESTION RIGHT AND GOT FULL MARKS!!!!!!!! THANK U SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you so much for this video! It wasn't very clear in class but this clarifies everything and explains it perfectly. I'm very grateful for this, thank you!
Thank you so much sir.... You explained all things so well that I will never be confused again. You teach 10 times better than my physics teacher. Thanks a lot again....
Its so interesting to learn when you understand.. Thanks a lot step-by-step science for teaching me physics so well or else I would have really failed...
hey wowwww, thank you so so so much..I'm a Physics students but never quite understood it, with your video, im getting the hang of the ray diagrams and all..
Thanks a lot for publishing such a nice video, its a very admiring one..and has helped me understand a lot and also for removing my confusion for these lenses...
thank you it was really really helpfull i didnt understand this for a long time but after watching this the concept is crystal clear thank u!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi Brian, I just wanted to say a huge thank you. I missed some class time and really didn't know how to do these until now. I think you saved me from failing my test tomorrow. Thanks again!!
Kushagra Ratnam If you are try to actually draw the lens then pick a radius and put the pointer on two different points on the same line. If you want to draw the ray diagrams then you need a ruler and not a compass. I don't have time to make a video about actually drawing the lenses.
Thnks A Ton Sir , I Was So Confused That I couldn't Understand Anything But then , I Went Through this Video And The Concept Became Very Clear To Me ! :)

@Mark Uy, A convex lens is a converging lens, a convex mirror is a diverging mirror. A concave lens is a diverging lens and a concave mirror is a converging mirror. It is a little confusing to keep straight.
Ahhh! :) nice :D thanks for this :) I am sure I can differentiate now those two :) A lot thanks! :)

thanks for ur video sir
A concave lens is a diverging lens and a {concave mirro}r is a converging mirror. it's concave mirror or convex lens
converging, concave mirror and convex lens
diverging, concave lens and convex mirror

Thanks for commenting, Yes everything step by step and it usually goes quite well.
Brian Swarthout. Sir can you please draw convex lens by using compass on paper because there are some issue regarding the lenght of compass to set
Kushagra Ratnam I do not understand your comment.
Sir I want to say that I am finding difficulties in drawing a convex lens on paper by using compass, pencil, scale
Kushagra Ratnam If you are try to actually draw the lens then pick a radius and put the pointer on two different points on the same line. If you want to draw the ray diagrams then you need a ruler and not a compass. I don't have time to make a video about actually drawing the lenses.
Sorry, just a science teacher. But very flattering.
very clear...awesome explanation. thank you so much..
Great, and thanks for the nice comment.
