Spaniels of all stripes are just pure entertainment in the field. My Welshie loves anything with feathers, he just does it at a slower pace than my previous cocker and springers. Love 'em all! Nice watching Percy evolve Nick.
That is an understatement! Percy certainly gets my heart racing...moments of brilliance and moments of disaster...welcome to the Working Cocker Spaniel ! Cheers Nick
Loved that- so useful to see. Have my first GSP and we train but not on live game yet and I'm not from a country background so seeing how the skills work in the field is very interesting. Your Percy has no fear of a bramble does he! thank you for sharing
Thanks for your comment, Percy does love the thick stuff and in truth that helps to hold him back and gives me some degree of control over him 😂Cheers Nick

Always enjoy a good working cocker two thumbs up 👍🏽 👍🏽
Organised Chaos, great to watch. So hard for Percy to keep it together with other dogs being unsteady. He really is a heart in the mouth dog😀.

Congratulations.. Excellent work from your cocker
What a lovely bit of ground to work your dogs on 🐾🐾 Thanks for sharing that👍👍
Thanks...it was hard going in places but perfect for the dogs. Percy didn't move for two days afterwards! Cheers Nick

Really a great film as always.
Thank you...hope all is well. Cheers Nick
@@Pettycordgundogs yes, thanks - we have been out roughs shooting today with some great dogs (springers)
Great video Nick. What happened when Percy and the other dog went for that same bird? 🙂
I managed to call him off…can’t really blame him as it did land very close to him! That said he should’ve stopped….cheers Nick
Thank you once again. Just out of curiosity, what was it you fired at right out of the gate? Only saw a glimpse of it at the lower left of the screen.
It was a rabbit that Percy flushed out of the bramble, I only just saw it as it cleared the cover. Snap shooting! Cheers Nick
