Thank you so much for having this left handed video. It's really hard to find left handed videos for a lot of crochet stitches. I look forward to learning more stitches from you. Thank you again. Hope you have a great day.
This video is excellent. I have struggled with this stitch for years and came across lacefromireland by luck. I shall keep working with you as I am inspired and love to work with the Irish Crochet stitches.
I love this one. So much precision on detail! You have the patience of a saint, and such amazing, inspiring creativity, you are inspiring the next generation to carry on these beautiful skills and to do something innovative and to get off their xbox's and iPads and make something, which in turn creates such a feeling of accomplishment, particularly in the young. Sophia (my daughter) is ten and has been following these videos and trying to replicate them since she was nine. She is now trying to come up with her own ideas, but still watches these videos every day, pausing them to take down notes or drawings and then resumes watching. She has learned SO much. It has also helped (a bit like meditating) calm her. She was always a bit moody since she was about 6 or 7, these videos are like a medicine to her and its focused her mind and calmed her soul. Now my Sophia is teaching me how to do this. They should have this in classes in primary schools all year round. Having said all of that, I still feel I'm underestimating what you teach us. Thankyou so much! Xx
I'm gathering a parcel of bits and bobs, I'll be posting it soon, lovely to see her inspired. I used to love making stuff when I was young and keep her at it
I've made this and didn't realize. They lady I learned from calls it a picot, but after watching several videos, it's definitely a clones. Lovely knot/stitch.
I dont know why people used to say that its not easy to follow cos its made with left hand. We left handed had to learn everything watching videos made with right hand. Use your brains people!!
I'd like to make a scarf with a groud like this with motifs at the ends; would it look ok if I were to reduce the number of chaines to 3..? Simply to make it slightly denser?
Muchas gracias por entregar su conocimiento, yo disfruto mirando sus videos, pero lamentablemente el idioma no me acompaña, al inicio del tejido no se cuantas cadenas hace. Me gusta y deseo hacerlo. Gracias Gracias.
I'm wondering if there is a media player which allows you to flip the image on the video you're watching. I'm right handed and I'm finding it a bit confusing to learn while repeating to myself that I should reverse the directions. Maybe by putting a mirror in front of the computer screen and watching it in the mirror. I'll try that!
Thank you for showing your videos. I have learned so much from you. I do have a question though, Where can I get the written instructions for the work you do? I simply cannot find them anywhere.
If you go to www.antiquepatternlibrary.org and have a look under Irish crochet , there are all the old pattern books for free. Priscilla 1 and 2 and the DMC book are the best. These patterns are the basis for most work in the past 100 years.
I would like to know how I in a triangle scarf with this technique can hooks , in particular the multiple or cut down of stitches . Sorry but I have used a translate program for my question.
This so good. I have seen other techniques that spin the hook back and forth. This makes much more sense. Thank You. Wonderful video.
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge! Such talent and beautiful work!
Although you’re left-handed, you’ve provided the best instructional video and I’ve viewed plenty. Thank you!❤

it's difficult but nice will surely try
good quality video.
merci beaucoup, très joli !!
Se hace dificil de apreciar
not 'clones' as in attack of the clones! Clo - nes, (nezz) two syllables, after the town of Clones in Ireland.
It is very difficult for a deft person to see a video of crochet in the opposite sense, I mean weaving with the left hand. :(
NO SE PUEDE VER EL VIDEO
I see to crocheting is mostly left handed I am right handed
