Must give you a sense of integrity getting hell from both directions. You know you are speaking the truth when every fool in shouting distance is pissing and moaning. Great work as always.

Love arpeggios.been putting in a lot of practice on these.really worth it.sometimes I get mixed up on what fingers to use.it's really helpful to no the notes of each chord and say them

Now i can solo over any miner or mazer key ,now i have understood all chord progession and all scales pattern. For today lesson of yours i understood that, if backing track is in the key of E,miner then we can play in G,Mazer scale or if backing track is in the key of G,Mazer we can play in e,miner scale and we can apply this scale pattern over any chord progression. huge huge thanks from my side now i can jam hard with my friends and make my own solos.

I'm studying Arpeggios as played by Jazz dudes - probably a waste of time but why not start learning something so rooted in theory and practical application that you can't mess up. Fundamental Changes In Jazz Guitar by Joseph Alexander is my personal favourite.

Andy is interesting, hes a get down, laid back blues guitarist but he can also emulate just about any style of rock and, the icing in the cake, he knows theory and he can communicate...Robben Ford also comes to mind

I am also wondering why the progression starts with 2 minor chords. Is that just arbitrary on your part?

Is that picking technique is right for arpeggio?

Hey Andy, great lesson as usual! I'm clearly missing something, how are you determining which chords are maj and minor? I can't seem to work out the rationale. Thanks in advance!!

The 3rd note determines the major or minor tonality of a chord based on the interval from the 2nd note. So in A minor the notes are A B C and since C is usually one fret away from B that makes it a minor 3rd. If the note was C sharp then it would be two frets away from B which would make it a major 3rd. Thus changing the key to A Maj.

Deberían de no hablar tanto y ser más concretos!!!! La intención del video es buena. Pero debe mejorar en ese aspecto.

why do these lessons have to re-hash basic theory every time.....my fickin god....either do a lesson on basic theory or get on with it already ...if you dont know what a chord, interval or diatonic progression is you shouldnt be here in the first place

Hey Rudie--I hear you but I just can't assume the viewer will know these things and I can't leave them in the dark. Usually, one good explanation will get the job done, but it is a bit tedious for those that are well familiar with the theory. The best thing is to fast-forward if you know the theory already; for those who do not, hopefully they will learn it...thx

@@AndyAledort777 I understand your point Andy.....but vid Title is Arpeggio Studies Based on the Cycle of Fourths....not basic Theory ....I wouldn't have come to this vid had i not understood Cycle of 4ths-5ths ....I personally wouldn't put out a vid on how to do a Triple Cut Valve Job on my Harley and then proceed to spend 3/4's of the vid on how to Remove the Head & break down the Valves first....if you didn't know those basics ....you need to do some homework first....as for Leaving someone in the Dark... you wouldn't be....this site is OVERLOADED with those basic's ....a simple link in the Description Box below would suffice IMO.....finally...didnt mean to offend you....but I have spent way to many hours on Click Bait titles that didnt deliver ...ps...I like yer playin :-)
