New generation of "N" solder Male connector, for any 10,3 mm (.400") coaxial cables. Great for matching M&P Cables and preserving their 105 dB screening efficiency (SA). No soldering of the braid is needed. 2 pins provided: 1 for solid core cables and the other one for stranded core cables. The inner cylindric rubber seal expands while tightening the connector parts together, therefore efficiently blocking outside the moisture.

Where is the difference in the two different central pins-I mean how I can recognise which is which If they are both out? Do they have different internal diameter?

Yes exactly, one pin has a bigger internal diameter. If you try to insert the pins in a solid conductor cable, you will notice that only one will fit perfectly. On the other hand, if you have stranded core coax, only 1 pin will fit with the conductor. :)
