Our family works in medical science. If 2020 proved anything it’s that science is trying to understand the truth of God and often what is called “the science,” is the bias of fools who don’t recognize how God is the creator of science and his patterns stand. There’s a reason why men like Galileo, Newton, and every groundbreaking scientist that based their theories on facts were seeking the truth of God and not the popular teachings of the time that were not to be questioned. “The science” is a religious belief system, actual science is seeking the truth of God even when those who find it are mocked till proven right much later. I can tell you for a fact in 2020 scientist were told, at least locally, not to question or test, that’s not science, but it was “the science” forced on those who didn’t agree with it under duress. God doesn’t force himself on anyone, people can absolutely choose to eternally separate themselves from his good and perfect ways.

Love it. Fell off my bike on Sunday, and lots of stitches etc. Feeling rotten. I think this is the first time I've smiled since. Thank you
Ah sorry to hear that, that's awful
@@foilarmsandhog yeah, pretty grim. My face currently resembles a giant blackcurrant! I think comedy and humour might be the thing to get me through. I'll certainly need a healthy dose of gallows humour every time I look in the mirror! Anyway, thank you again. Genuinely I think the gift you and others have to make people smile (laughing is too painful at the moment!) is life and mental health saving. It's far more than just entertainment ❤️
Absolutely spot on! I've been an English teacher for 30 years. Loved the sketch!
When I saw Arms in the toga in the thumbnail, I thought he was being the Greek language. Religion and Science not talking to each other - hilarious! Great sketch! 😀👍
I think they missed a joke by not having Latin and Classics interact! (Yes, I know they're both Arms, but they could have made it work!)
Perfectly timed for the school holidays! Fabulous sketch👏
Arms singing A Whole New World while Foil glared at him was not in the script. They had just left the camera running
Someone's a disney fan 😂
@@Ensign_Roque and that a member is Arms, not the first time he's sung this!
I wonder what his favourite disney cartoon is 🤔
My brother studies geography and starting to name out countries and capitals after drink is 100% accurate!!
Classical Studies: "Nobody likes maths"
Pythagoras will not be pleased.
Like a fine wine that was water. 😆 nice one Hog.
Can't wait for foil arms and hog characters throw a party
If we're doing that we're in trouble!
0:33 Matt Matterson will be DEVASTATED
Thank you! I used to be a Home Ec Teacher. Loved this sketch. Just like the staff room characters of the teachers. The party sketch genre is always good you have it down to a fine art and come up with such good dialogue xxx
1:29 Gonna tell my kids this was Miss Darbus and Coach Bolton from ‘High School Musical’.
This has one of the best combinations of humour, active moments, class, facts, acting and singing 💯
And this feels like a party for kids with the tut and the silent treatment hahaha
0:58 Chemistry is very cute 💖
He's taken, we've been carbon dating for 14 years pal!
@@foilarmsandhogSpoilsport lol Jk
@@foilarmsandhog🤣
@@foilarmsandhog - 14 years? Don't you mean for "half your life"? 😉
"Aw, I wish I had Chemistry like that"
"With whom?"
"...Chemistry."
"Yes, but chemistry with whom?"
"No, just Chemistry!" ....
😜😁
Very clever couch setup. Props to you guys
The love between history and chemistry is so real these days. 😂 I also loved how offended Latin was about his three sons because he is right. 😂 Would have been even better if Old Greek came in and kicked Latin saying "Where would you be without me?!" 😂 and I loved Arms dancing. 😂 You enjoyed it well to much, I feel. 😂 ❤ Also the bitching about the Academics, brilliant! And I loved Classical Studies, you looked great, Arms. Love your sketches, guys, they always bright up my days. ❤
PS: The only thing I would critize here is that you missed out a great opportunity to throw "in vino veritas" in. 😂😂😂
PPS: The hate between religion and sciences was real here. 😂❤
The "Carbon-Dating"-joke was brilliant! 😂
It's amazing how easily you slip into each role. Foil's expressions as PE, arms flitting from venerable latin to lunatic drama, hog in his avatar as religion, it's all so spot on. And special applause for the dialogues. 'We met carbon dating' 😂, man, how do you manage to come up with lines such as these.
Oh really clever writing...so funny and great delivery. Delighted you got a song in....fabulous voice
Oh why thank you 😊
@@foilarmsandhogWhen can we expect Foil Arms & Hog: Songs; The Irish Farmer: Originals (with Phelim and Mossy); Conor McKenna sings Traditional Irish folksongs and hymns; Conor McKenna sings the Disney songbook. Vol. 1 ?
Yay! Absolutely love a party sketch! So much packed in - poor maths and geography and PE and Latin and .... low blow at media studies (though accurate). Maths and drunk Geography were hilarious! Chemistry and history 🥰
The Geography joke really got me. Oxbow lakes and how they form are one of my fondest memories of geography
I have a History degree and this is accurate. To the point where I make sure to tell.people the inaccuracies on film and TV of historic events lol 😆 nice one lads..brought back memories of school hahahaha can't wait to see you during your UK tour 😊 hope Fringe and Canada goes well
I’m a history teacher, it’s painfully accurate😅
@@MCKevin289 I wanted to be a history teacher but sadly didn't happen lol but the lads are clever that you recognised the accuracy lol 😆
Latin, “ None of you would be here without me!” Loved this skit. 🥰
"We met carbon dating" is the best line ever!
I can’t get enough of these skits. These are amazing. Added plus is they are funny too!
I guess German was to busy being serious to make it to the party. What a pity as he can cut loose once he gets a beer or three in him.
Pity indeed. He would have loved to practice his English, unlike the other two :).
Quoting Latin and proudly translating it into the most sarcastic or deadpan phrase is always great. Extra points for naming the author.😂
I had a biology teacher who also taught catholic religious studies. Not sure how she managed that lol. Always love the party sketches!
Religious studies is not about believing but about the knowledge of that subject. I don't believe in God, but still got an A in religious studies. Also you can win discussion with Jehovas witnesses AND Mormons at the door without being rude.
@@u.s.1974And who says these subjects don’t have real-world applications 😂!
My Physics teacher was veery religious no idea how he wasnt a religious studies teacher I guess the private catholic school aspect of things made up for any deficit in religious things he mightve wanted to do so he didnt feel like he was loosing out lol.
@@u.s.1974 Sure, but she still had to essentially teach evolution at 8am and genesis at 10am. It's just that mental disconnect
It's really quite possible to believe in both science and religion. I don't think I've ever had a science teacher who wasn't also quite religious.
PE and Drama!!! Somehow the relationship was perfectly conveyed. They kinda stuck together but don't really have anything to do with each other. The awkwardness of it all reminded me of my school days to a T.
This is my new favourite I look forward to these every week what a great way to start the day 😂😂
Our pleasure!
I miss these
As a teacher in English and history Who also studied latin (of which I constantly remind People and they don't care) I would say that was spot on! 😂
Thank you FAH!
Nothing but DELIGHT for the eyes, the ears, the imagination, well, for the mind😂😂😂😂. Yous are BRILLANT 🎉
2:13. They're missing a purple shirt for that true Wiggles experience.
Honestly history is going to write that as the biggest shame he's ever seen.... 😂
