- Tails loses Sonic in the beginning of Ice Cap Zone, forcing him to try and find Sonic while surviving the harsh, cold environment. Days go by with Tails on his own until Sonic ends up finding him, only to see what he has become.
if any of you fools make sprites based on my concept art or put this in ur mods or whatever ill chop ur legs off or something, please dont do it without asking me first!! Feel free to make fancharts of this tho, just credit me (i'll upload the inst and voices soon hopefully loll)

I like how you can see that Tails's fur has gotten visibly longer, his body seemingly started adapting to the cold environment like that of an actual wild animal.
As well as having longer, sharper teeth to tear apart the meat better

Not sure if it was intentional, but Tails' vocals sound like his nose is stuffy and congested from all the crying. Love it :)

Ja, that would be intentional as that is how Tails sounded in the Sonic the Hedgehog movie (specifically the OVA), since Tails was more "child"-like in that movie and somewhat had the voice to match

Two ways the fire shield can work as a mechanic:
1. It functions as a replacement to Typhlosion in the original, disappearing once it has been used up.
2. The shield could nullify the cold effect, but missing a note breaks it, leading to the cold actually affecting Sonic. Hitting a monitor note would restore the shield.
The second mechanic is better
And the cold can drain your health

Sonic is actually able to resist the cold, he was born in a cold environment, that being Christmas island
Now this is a Remix! I have never seen a cover better than this! You completely transformed the song into a masterpiece beyond comparason that sounds amazing and as if this is truly the original

If it wasn't for the beginning and end of the song, I would think this is just it's own song inspired by frostbite because god damn, it might as well be. The song goes hard and feels like it's own thing, which is something I can appreciate. Covers can be good, but it's another thing entirely if you remix the song to fit with what's happening, or adding stuff relating to the cover.(ex: It's a sonic song, and it takes place in Ice cap, so you hear parts of the ice cap song, and other bits from Sonic sounds and music sprinkled in, like that fire shield you hear at the very beginning) This makes the cover stand out more and making the song not just be just changing the voice, and not even touching the instrumental. This is why I can truly say that this is a cover that is more unique than the original song it's based on. Good work, Pancho!

Fan Story: Tails went missing for a few hours, sonic then goes through the cold ice cap zone in search for his lost buddy by using his fire shield as well to warm himself up.. sonic ends up finding tails but then realizes what tails has done and gets extremely angry and disappointed over the fact that tails ate the animals (or mobians) which leads to him leaving tails before he could even explain why he ended up consuming them while crying in anger since he knew his friend would never do a thing like that.
This is the definitive best cover of this song I heard. The way you did the instrumental of of ice cap made my ears really enjoy this😁

In Mania, I recalled that the fire shield nullified Heavy Shinobi’s sword freezing attacks, allowing you to break out of the freezing state quickly compared to without it.

I think he was going to save him but after he became aggressive he decided to abandon him.

These voices are actually really good, I love them!! Even if they aren't released for more covers using these are to be used, I'm happy I still get to listen to them. They really do fit Classic Sonic and Classic Tails. Excellent work, hope to see more of these two in the future!

I had a similar concept except in mine Sonic doesn’t find tails, and thinks that he will show up later, and after defeating eggman becomes concerned when tails is a no show, and tails becomes a artic fox of sorts. I had the idea by myself, but after seeing this I may have to rethink some elements of it.

He doesn’t appear physically wounded. Just seemingly bloody. Presumably from the animals, whom by the blood on his teeth, implies he consumed to stay alive in the snow.

@@regularperson369 the good ending is that sonic take tails home and takes care of him until he feels better. It was still a very mentally damaging experience for tails but he tries his best to move on. Bad ending is tails eats sonic lol
