Chinese basketball team has been going downhill since 2008 Olympic when they managed to secured top 8 position in the world. And now they can’t even win the Asian cup.
Ummmm. They had Yao Ming then.
They only won the Asia Cups before because nobody besides China, South Korea, or the Philippines took it seriously before. In the time that they were winning Asia Cups, they were still getting slaughtered in the World Cups despite the countries being less competitive back then.

@@9feetfrog They were serious. Along with the Philippines and South Korea. They only dominated it before cause there was less competition and height mattered a lot more than skill before. China is still the same China, they just didn't evolve and others caught up.
@@sarban1653 so how many Asian basketball championships did Philippine or South Korean managed to win so far? China is not competitive anymore but can still win Phillipines or South Korea with no drama. But I can’t say the same for Japan team, they are now the No.1 in Asia and will continue to dominate for at least the next 5 years.
