They won’t be discriminated because they are “mutants,” but because they are ILLEGAL multiversal immigrants … they will live on an island … Krakoa. Doing that makes sense because, although we still have race issues, we have MORE problems with immigration (Syrian refugees in Europe, Mexican immigrants to USA, etc). The world has this as a COMMON ISSUE, not race discrimination (which is so 1960s).

The Xmas references are kinda funny since we (my husband & I ) decided to rewatch Deadpool on Xmas Day. Theatrical release was in Feb if memory serves. The ads played up Valentine's Day & going to see it was actually our Valentine's Day date for that year 😊 We laughed so hard. It's one of our favorite movies to watch just to lighten up & have fun.
The Tristan is a DEEEP cut to Deadpool 2 Tristan Zelden who has a bad relationship with fire. But I think this also has a double meaning for Ryan as the real world 2nd one is a wish foundation he fulfilled to Tristen Horne.

He says chimichangas in Cable & Deadpool repeatedly and when asked in if he liked them he admitted he had no idea what it was and it was just a word that came to him and he liked how it sounded. He continued that in his appearances in the new (at the time) X Force comics.

I saw the title pic of this and just wanted to jump in here to say.. that injecting someone else's blood/plasma/marrow/etc. in to a person won't magically transmutate them in to a superhuman even IF that blood happens to come from a superhuman. That's not how the human body works. They aren't introducing enough of a sample to "take over." If the blood types match then there SHOULDN'T be any major interaction, but that doesn't mean all your other blood cells will become "super" just because you have a little bit of mutated, superhuman blood in your system. Here's a good analogy.. You fill your car with regular unleaded gas ALL the time, but one day you decide "I'm gonna put $20 worth of PREMIUM in here because I hear it helps with performance and making your engine last longer." Do you really believe that by putting some Super Premium gas in your Honda Civic it'll magically have the engine power and performance of a Lamborghini? Same idea.
