►A LITTLE ABOUT ME: I'm Dean Wolfe, a mostly self-taught Canadian guitarist/composer/multi-instrumentalist/singer/producer/performer. I started out as a full time musician, on the road at age 17-19, then went part-time ever since, holding 'day-careers' like chef (red seal papers), spiritual health care while raising a family. As a producer I've made hundreds of my own songs for media and award winning documentaries etc. I've been in several bands including a prog/jazz fusion act nFuze, playing International Jazz festivals and jazz clubs. I like to explore grunge, pop rock and alternative, alt-folk / acoustic fingerstyle guitar, ambient electronic and classical as well. Recently i 'discovered' shoegaze and lo-fi. I have a home studio that is ramping up for lots more music so stay tuned.

Omnipotent Youth Society is brilliant. You should also listen to WangWen, they are the best post-rock band in China. My favorite album is Invisible city.

@@deanwolfechannel Hong Kong, they are/were on their Asia tour. They played all of this album and most of the previous one! It was my first time hearing their music ever, memorable night!
I really enjoyed the reaction to this video, but it seems like the album you listened to was missing the last song. That final track really makes the whole album a more complete conceptual work. I saw them perform live in Taipei just a few weeks ago, and it was one of the best concerts I've seen in recent years - even better than the studio recordings.

Great video, but there's a mistake on the chapter. Quarrying is the song from 10:29 to 19:21, and tit is the song from 19:21 to 22:42, and the next song is called bypass? 繞越 (not sure about the English name), then the 11min song is Heibeimoqilin(河北墨麒麟). Thanks for the react!

@@deanwolfechannel Awesome! Personally think you'd love "Symbolic" by Death. That album is a mix of Technical Death Metal and Progressive Metal. Its the staple of the genre. ! 👍😎 I think someone on Patreon might've already recommended it though, it's a very go-to album. But one of the very best, no doubt.
