    Very clever ideas he put to use. Pump in the water container was my top pick. Thanks Matt for sharing.

    The shower was very cool and if a pole breaks easy to find a replacement. I enjoy watching your videos as I am planning on getting a micro and I get a lot of ideas as to how and what I want.

    Love this video of Colin and Alison's Hiker Trailer! I'm looking at my options and didn't want to tow but, Class B and C campers are too much that I want to pay. Hiker Trailers has a very nice trailer and the price is right. I too have a Subaru Outback with a 6 cylinder and would like to also add the brake controller too. I will need to drive slower but it's something I can get used to doing. Thanks, Matt for your videos! I'll be watching the others as well as a new subscriber.

    With all the things hanging on the galley door panel, a few questions: what is the panel material, and how thick? How much can it hold?

    • @MWDAdventures
      @MWDAdventures  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They don't recommend much weight on those doors - the middle is just a foam core. If you put too much weight on the door, it could overload the hinges.

  • @Paranioa1963
    @Paranioa1963 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    I like the pull down blinds on the side windows, but curious how they're attached? I got my trailer today from Indiana and for got to ask where the wires are ran on the ceiling. Anyhow I have similar blinds and I'd like to mount the brackets where the ceiling meets the side wall for extra support.

    • @MWDAdventures
      @MWDAdventures  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I know the wires run through the ceiling and would assume down the middle. You would have to check with HIker We use command hooks and they work great without drilling.

      No mention of brand of tent I believe it was from Walmart and yes he modified it to fit the door.

      @@MWDAdventures It looks to me like an Ozark Trail side canopy tent and yes, that's from Wal-Mart. I own one, and that's what it looks like. But the thing I can't figure out is how he's got it rigged up when it goes past the Hiker Trailer toward the tongue. Cause that tent requires support all along that top ridge. It normally clips to a 10x10 square canopy. So, how is he keeping it supported? Only about 5 feet looks to be attached to the HT.

  • @mikecarson3559
    @mikecarson3559 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Do you remember how Colin supported the ensuite tent that is not attached to the hiker? It appears to be freestanding somehow.

      Did you ever get any info on more specific direction on how he attached the tent? Trying to find a rack mounted shower room with a roof is impossible. There is one made in Australia but shipping is impossible.

    • @mikecarson3559
      @mikecarson3559 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ronjones503 I never had further reply, but I did work out a solution. I ran conduit along the roof rack extended out to an easy-up leg at the end of the tent. (Tent pole would work too.) Works good. I'd attach a pic of I could.
