Hi Everyone! Great to see so many of you hopefully enjoying the video, So many comments! So I thought I'd pin this comment here to answer a lot of the common questions. 1) Links not working - The link in the description is for the M3 Pro head straps. When stock is not available on Amazon though, if you're not on Amazon US, then it will redirect you to a 'best fit alternative'. So in this case it is redirecting you to the M2 Pro instead. That's just how Amazon works. If you search for the M3 Pro you should find it. 2) Stock Levels - People are managing to order these head straps, including people in this comments section. However, demand is very much exceeding supply at the moment so I can only recommend checking the link amzn.to/45HBPLO frequently for when stock becomes available as at the moment it sells out again pretty quick. I have reached out to BoboVR to try and get some more info of when stock will be back in and I'll update here as soon as I get that. I hope you all enjoyed the video as I'm just trying to release videos that I think people would find interesting and informative. I know it's annoying when you can't buy what you want, when you want, but it will get better.
Got a bobo on one of my quest 2's I find it very uncomfortable although my daughter likes it, just got a Eyglo C2 battery strap for my quest 3, it is the most comfortable quest strap I've had
Another good point of this one is that you can also use the Quest 3 without the facia (Quest Pro style) which is great for viewing mixed reality content.
Yes I’m eagerly waiting for the retrofit for the strap too. Just got the quest 3 and already have the m2 plus and case just sitting there. Drives me crazy I can’t use it. I check every day and have the items in my wishlist waiting to buy. Hopefully when they do tales them it’ll be larger quantities and quicker restocks
You'll love using your M2 (with conversion kit) with the Quest 3, the stock strap makes the facial interface feel "abrasive", once you have the M2 / M3 on the Quest 3, the facial interface becomes comfortable on the face. That cloth strap should be outlawed, it's that bad. I lucked out and got my conversion kit a couple days ago, Best $15 I've spent in a long time (Canadian price).
just caved in yesterday and got an elite strap with battery from best buy (the meta one). feels alot better than stock strap for sure. gonna be awhile til i get the bobovr one
Same, Ordered elite strap 4 days ago, Was waiting for BoboVR but they waited too long. I may still get one but it won't be for a year or so, Maybe they will update the batteries as I am not sure the M2 batteries they use will even keep up with Quest 3 charging from what I was reading on forums, They need too update the batteries and make an M3.

I happened to check Amazon US early this morning 1:30ish and noticed that they were in stock! Ordered one with a delivery date of early November! Was looking for videos right after and there wasn’t much…good timing on yours! Thanks for the review!
It does seem to be a bit of a lottery with demand far exceeding supply at the moment. Glad you managed to get one, and glad you enjoyed the review too! 😊
It is early days and demand must be huge at the moment. There’s people in these comments that have been able to order today so I’d just recommend checking each day.
I have questions about the battery pack. I 3D printed a retrofit kit for the BoboVR M1 Pro so I could use the battery pack with the Quest 3, but found that the battery charging is too weak to actually charge it during play. All it can do is slow down the discharge, meaning the Quest 3 and the BoboVR battery pack both drain, but a slower rate than if I was playing with no battery pack. How does the BoboVR M3 Pro battery pack fair? Is it able to charge the headset during play, or does it have the same behavior as my M1 Pro in that it just discharges slower than normal? Have you tried older battery packs with the M3 Pro?
The M3 Pro still uses the same "B2" batteries, which are only 15w. The Quest 3 needs a 20w charge to keep up with battery drain. Huge oversight by BOBO IMO. Hopefully they can fix the issue by just releasing a 20w "B3" battery, without the need of a new strap.
I would say, especially with the battery, it's good to keep in mind that the set weights substantially heavier with the new strap, like ALOT heavier. Also, you might want to look into facial interface replacements also as meta's cloth interface feels too itchy and cheap in comparison to the strap's faux leather. I cannot quite tell if it's just me not used to the strap just yet, but, (and I would love feedback as the entire topic is something I'm skeptical of) it doesn't feel like you can get as close to the set as you can with the default strap, so you sacrifice proximity to face and therefore FOV in trade for comfort and battery. Halo straps overall are something i'm not very fond of as it's very bulky at the top and sides of the front end of your head, so you can't wear headset headphones as comfortably, the two nubs that extend onward onto the top of your head are also weird, maybe they eliminate the need of a top strap but they just feel strange on your hair/scalp. Although I'm not sad I got it, I am kinda curious of how it could've been if I instead waited and got a different strap design similar to what Kiwi's been cooking up...
It doesn't "double the battery life". Remember the Quest 3 has a far larger battery and consumes much more power. These extra batteries are the same skimpy ones as being used on Bobo M2 for Quest 2 and will last much shorter in the Quest 3 use case.
The battery in the Quest 3 is around 3640mAh. The size of the battery on the BoboVR headstrap is 5200mAh. So it should more than double the battery life of your headset.
My comment was deleted for some reason so I'll post on your reply instead. You are right, Going off forums these M2 batteries won't be any good, It's not the size of the battery that matters, It's the output. Quest 3 uses a lot more power, Around 27w with passthrough switched on. I have a 13,000 mah battery that won't even charge the Quest 3, can't keep up with drain as it's under 10w ouptut, Ordered a new one 10,000 mah smaller but a lot more watts(30w) that can keep up with the drain when using Quest 3. BoboVR needs to update the batteries and release an M3.
@@ShazeeraTV he said the of battery is 5200mah. So if you take a bobo battery that is 3640mah. Two bobo batteries are 7280 according to the info he posted. That is not double of the original 5200. It would have to be 10400 to be double over the original battery. When someone says double the play time to me that would be a total of 6 hours of play time with OG battery in count. The extra batteries add additional 4 hours.
I did order one just now, but for now a counterweight to the stock headstrap is good enough, recommend anyone to find some zip ties and use something heavy like a battery pack.
Ok so I’ve had my meta 3 for about three months now , haven’t put any accessories on it except a skin on the headset and controllers , but after watching about ten videos about accessories and better headsets , this video just made me make up my mind and this is the headset strap I’m gonna buy , thanks for your video , others have recommended this one as well but they didn’t have as good of input in my opinion. 👍👍👍✌️✌️✌️
I’m glad the video helped you out. You might want to check out their newer headstrap as well, the S3 Pro. I did a review of it here th-cam.com/video/7_j44beBwRI/w-d-xo.html
Elite strap will keep your headset charged while in use, BoboVR struggles to keep the Q3 from draining as the battery is designed for Q2 and hasn’t been updated. That’s what the forums say, it’s typical that issues are not mentioned in many YT “reviews” as most just try to sell you stuff via their affiliate links.
The elite strap was a big let down for me as it would slide around on my face. Is this worth it and does it have better weight distribution that would fix that issue?
It does distribute weight better across your head as it's a halo style head strap. If your head set is sliding around your face though it might be worth looking at something to help with that too. I've recently been trying out the VR Cover face cover (did a review of it recently) and that's definiitely helepd with comfort and the headset doesn't move around as much either.
Depends, I personally think the Elite strap would be better for me since it doesn't rest too much on your forehead which I personally don't like I prefer the clamp
Yes. The headset charges through 3 pins in the base of the headset when it’s attached to the official charging dock so the head strap doesn’t impact it at all. Although bear in mind that the charging dock will only charge the headset, it won't charge the battery on the head strap.
Do the batteries keep up with the power usage of the Meta Quest 3? Heard it wasn’t charging fast enough before the headset lost power before the battery emptied itself.
you will be better off buying any bobovr head strap that has the newer B100 batteries as they provide more power. Either the S3 Pro or M3 Max (it misses a few features but is cheaper). I've done reviews of the former, and also just released a 'best head straps' video so I recommend checking those out too.
Between this and the Aubika for me. Which has the fastest adjustment? Me and my kids share the question and we all have different size heads. So ideally want something very easily adjustable too.
Most headsets just resize on a dial at the back so are pretty much the same from a speed perspective. Anything is better than trying to adjust the default head strap all the time! 😀
Hows thr charging speed of the battery pack? Many reviews have said that that the headset battery still drains while "charging" from the battery pack due to the slow charging speed
I received confirmation on my being shipped. Only thing I am hoping happens if BOBOvr puts out a 10,000 amh or higher battery pack :) DOUBLES? not on the quest 3. And who is getting more than 2 hrs on the quest 3 with stock battery?
This really helps while we wait for BOBOVR Brand: AMVR AMVR Head Back Padding for Quest 2 Headset, Gravity Pressure Balance Cushion Comfortable Soft TPU Pad Accessories (Black)
I've been checking for days, and it still says unavailable, yet they sold over 400 last month. I'm guessing it's just the UK or something right now, as I'm in the USA.
Ironically its never actually been in stock in the UK. It's been in stock in the US, the quantities appear to be small though and sell out in about 10 minutes.
@@CosmicVRSthey're not selling anywhere, they're giving them to these people to review without me seeing any evidence in any country of it being for sale except Canada briefly. I've been checking amazon uk very frequently and its never been available
I'm guessing from everyone's comments, that the company must be mass producing these before showing back up on Amazon, and the numbers that have shipped are just from influencers that had potential advertising priority.
Looks great, though you didn't go through how size adaptible it is. My main issue is I've got two young kids so I have to resize the headset everytime.
How about the issue of the bobovr not having 3a charging so it can't charge the internal quest battery as fast as it drains? Not sure if that really is an issue, but worth noting. Wondering to get the m3 without battery and simply buy a 3a rated powerbank instead.
Personally, my Q3 stays at 100% when I have the Bobo batteries connected and I just hotswap the bobo batteries.. Currently using the M2 with the 3d printed retrofit for Q3
It's an overblown issue. Yes, it can't charge at the same rate that the Quest 3's max power draw is. No, the Quest 3 is not drawing that much power 100% of the time. It fluctuates based on demand. If you mainly play PCVR, I'm under the impression that the charging will be enough. If you exclusively play standalone mode and play the most demanding games, MAYBE you can see some lesser playtime. In that case, just grab the bundle with the 2 batteries and charging dock. By the time you need to swap, you'll have a battery ready to go.
even tho the product still isnt for purchase, thank you for making the review! currently waiting on the retro fit kit to come out as i recently bought the m2 pro headstrap
Thanks! O just don’t think that BoboVR can keep up with demand at the moment. As soon as the Quest 3 released it would have been a flood gate to order it. It should get better over time. I have reached out to them to get an update on stock and will post a pinned post here with more info as soon as I get any. I have the retrofit kit to test too as I bought the M2 Pro so can’t wait to try that out also.
i purchased mine on october 13th on amazon. the day after the amazon prime deals. i kept refreshing the page every 10 minutes that day. finally it showed up as available to purchase and i bought it. then i refreshed the page again and it said it was unavailable. so within 5 minutes it has been sold out.
this video is incredibly helpful as im getting a quest 3 soon and i do not want the default headset strap and i desire extra playtime, thanks for making this much love to you.
No. Halo head straps won't fit in the official meta quest 3 case as it's designed for the elite strap and similar clamshell designed head straps, not Halo ones.
Meta quote battery life anywhere between 1.5 and 2.9 hours of battery life depending on what you're actually doing on the headset, so 100 minutes is within range, albeit the low end. It still sucks though so any additional battery life is a good thing!
Hi, great video. A few questions. How does the overall weight of this strap compare to elite style straps? Would neck strain be an issue for my kid? (10 years old and smaller) What about using this with seated experiences on like a couch or something. Does the bulk of the back area create an awkward position/siuation there?
Halo head strap in general are heavier than their clamshell design counterparts. However, that weight is distributed more evenly across your head. So that kind of cancels itself out. For laying down, this headstrap isn’t goi no to be any better or worse than any other battery head strap as they all have the battery and ratchet sticking out the back. If you’re going to use it laying down then I’d say just stick with the elasticated strap it came with.
Can anyone confirm if battery percent still goes down on Quest 3 faster than the Bobo VR battery can charge it? Also can you just plug in the Bobo VR battery so it charges itself and the Quest 3?
What is with the case, that the q3 needs more power than the battery of the bobovr3 can give and the battery come just over 1 hour? Did you test how the battery works with the q3?
I got elite strap so far so good. ( just got it 2 days ) how mutch was the M3 pro ? cant see price. out of stock. Some one using powerbank on headset and how it go then ? Powerbanks like 268000 are not that mutch these days
Any comments on their battery packs not providing sufficient charging power for the Q3, causing the headset to drain faster than the battery can charge it?
Does it use the same batteries? It usally doesn't "Charge" my quest 2. Makes is stay around the same percent and go up very slowly overtime? The quest 3 charges with a 18 watt charging brick and the bobo vr batteries only output 13 watts. Its concerning me
Are the battery specs the same as the ones from the M2? I ask because the ones for the M2 cannot even charge the Quest 2 and I doubt they will work on the Quest 3.
The meta carry cases are designed to fit clamshell style head straps, not halo style ones. So, no. The bobovr C2 case and a number of other cases would fit it though.
Great review, thanks. Have you tried using the Quest 3 with the M3 without the facial interface installed? I wear glasses with my Quest 2 and found they would initially steam up with the seal of the interface. My thinking is more breathability, but wonder whether it is still usable with obvious light and peripheral vision. Thanks,
Thanks! 😊 Yes, I've used the M3 with the Quest 3 'Pro style' (i.e. without the facial interface). It does help a lot with breathability if you wear it like that and I found it worked really well for mixed reality games like Cubism for instance. I wouldn't do it though if you were playing fitness games as the headset would move around too much without the facial interface.
Is it the same M2 batteries though? Not sure they are strong enough to keep the Quest 3 charged from what I hear on forums, Quest 3 uses around 27w with passthrough on, Need stronger batteries or the headset will run out before that BoboVR M2 batteries charge it
To be honest, I had so many of the official elite straps for the Quest 2 snap on me that I'm unlikely to buy another Meta head strap ever again. There are, or rather will be, far better and cheaper alternatives out there.
@@MyTechGearGamingThanks for the fast response, that's a shame, I would of got that head strap there and then. Is there a version of that head strap without the battery ? because I only play PCVR via the USB-C Cable. Also not available on Amazon yet in the UK so will have to wait.
No. The 🧲 are pretty strong. I did a shake test when I reviewed their previous m2 pro head strap for the quest 2 which is exactly the same battery and dock which you can check out here -> th-cam.com/video/M-n7FDKyPCA/w-d-xo.html
Hey my tech, just wanted to clarify something. Does the boboVR headstrap come included with a battery, or do you have to buy one separate from their battery accessories page on the website?
Great review, really looking forward to getting one of these! FYI - the link connects to an Amazon page for the Quest 2 Bobovr M2, so not the product in this video.
The links are for the M3 pro but when stock runs out at Amazon, sometimes it can redirect people to a ‘best alternative’ instead as it tries to find you something else that you’d like to buy instead. This is especially the case if you’re not on the Amazon US site. I’m glad you liked the review too! 😊
The A2 Air was an add-on for the M2 head strap. So hopefully they release similar for the M3 in the near future. I would say that the sound on the quest 3 is ALOT better than the quest 2.
Meta have had major issues with their elite battery strap. They took if off the shelves due to this and have only just started reselling it again. I’m not sure I’d trust it right now.
I'd love to buy it in the UK but I've been trying since it was meant to launch on the 10th. The company has lied and tried to blame Amazon for the delays, now today they confirm it was down to their own shipping/stock. Not sure I want to purchase from this company even though the headstrap looks excellent.
No, it is an Amazon issue. Timing just didn't work out and it becomes available for short periods of time. Just gotta stay on top of it and you can get one ordered. Though they really should be available for purchase directly through Bobo's website. All their previous products are, so it seems silly to rely on Amazon for getting these out when they are in such high demand
off the Amazon link in the description. If they’re out of stock though you can either wait til they’re back in stock or you could try the bobovr website directly and see if they have stock too.
Honestly for me the problems are the dots you loosen and fasten the headstrap with, burrowing into the back of my head. Only this time in two different places at once compared to the quest 2
Fits definitely not as comfortable as the quest 2 facial interfaces you could buy. I did find it a lot more comfortable once I put this head strap on as I didn’t have to have it clamped so tight to my face.
Whats the power draw of the batteries? I noticed you need at least 18watt power bank to maintain the Q3 charge. A small 10,000 mah power bank I bought lasted about 2 1/2 hours on virtual desktop at max resolution. My standard 12 watt power banks I do notice the headset still drains at a fairly decent rate when using virtual desktop.
The quest 3 will draw a max of 18 watts. But it doesn’t do that constantly, especially when in use. The max power output of the bobovr batteries is 14w. So it depends on the game you’re playing as to how much power the headset needs. I played for an hour last night for instance and saw my headset drop 4% and that was with mixed reality turned on.
@@MyTechGearGaming Is this doing PCVR or native quest games? I tend to play a lot of PCVR and I do notice PCVR always draining faster especially when you bump the refresh rate to 120hz. Using my regular 12 watt power banks I def noticed a lot faster drain than 4% with about an hour of usage. Also with an hour of usage what was the battery % of the bobo powerbank?
@chan13153 battery life left was around half. Two lights were still on. It was playing standalone on the headset. If you bump up refresh rates to 120hz then that will consume more power.
It’s pretty much the same as the M2. The only difference is that the arm brackets have been changed so they fit the Quest 3. You can also buy a retro fit kit to convert an M2 into an M3! I did a video on that too so check that out! 😊
It is early days and demand must be huge at the moment. There’s people in these comments that have been able to order today so I’d just recommend checking each day.

I did a review of it here
th-cam.com/video/7_j44beBwRI/w-d-xo.html
I’m not fully sold on this cuz of the fact those side bits that grab onto the headset don’t click on and slide so I worry they’d slide off the headset
It’s a very snug fit. It’s not going anywhere. People have been using bobovr halo headstraps for years.
How does this compare to the elite strap with battery? Which is better?
Trim of the sides of your old headset until it can slide in the quest 3.... I just did it with an Dremel tool, I don't regret it
Bought the elite battery strap on launch, it’s pretty comfortable but honestly expensive. Don’t know if the bobo would be more comfortable tbh
Depends, I personally think the Elite strap would be better for me since it doesn't rest too much on your forehead which I personally don't like I prefer the clamp
You way overpayed.
Fantastic headband, best in class and should be the norm for future VR headsets, in particular the battery swap.
Hopefully we can buy it in the EU soon.... 😎
Is this headstrap compatible with the quest 3 charging dock?
Yes. The headset charges through 3 pins in the base of the headset when it’s attached to the official charging dock so the head strap doesn’t impact it at all. Although bear in mind that the charging dock will only charge the headset, it won't charge the battery on the head strap.
@@MyTechGearGaming thank you! :)
The rubber like hexagon pads for the back-part of the bobo strap is at least for me way better than the cushion padding.
This really helps while we wait for BOBOVR
Brand: AMVR
AMVR Head Back Padding for Quest 2 Headset, Gravity Pressure Balance Cushion Comfortable Soft TPU Pad Accessories (Black)
Nope, I'm in the UK and I'm waiting for it to release before I even think about getting the Quest 3 😮 wonder where they're selling?
Out of stock in the UK as well.
The M3 Pro is easily adjustable using the adjustment dial at the back of the head strap and will suit a range of head sizes from 18.5"" to 29.5".
Btw saying this doubles the battery life of the Q3 might be a bit of a stretch.
@@mattm1160 thanks for confirming 👍
It's an overblown issue. Yes, it can't charge at the same rate that the Quest 3's max power draw is. No, the Quest 3 is not drawing that much power 100% of the time. It fluctuates based on demand. If you mainly play PCVR, I'm under the impression that the charging will be enough. If you exclusively play standalone mode and play the most demanding games, MAYBE you can see some lesser playtime. In that case, just grab the bundle with the 2 batteries and charging dock. By the time you need to swap, you'll have a battery ready to go.
@Nostrildumbass Yeah, I was playing contractors with m3, and it didn't drain but when I was on bonelab it slowly went down.
is it compatible with the charging dock and carrying case? these are probably stupid questions sorry if im wasting anybodys time
This is one of the most useful unboxing vid I ever seen
Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed it! 😊
I thought I was gonna use the retro kit for my quest 3 but I think I'm gonna keep my quest 2 as well
3D printing designs are now available to adapt Bobo VR M2 to Quest 3, don't waste your money on a new one
Where? Please give website
even tho the product still isnt for purchase, thank you for making the review! currently waiting on the retro fit kit to come out as i recently bought the m2 pro headstrap
Just got mine delivered today. Very comfortable head strap. I like halo straps having used one on the quest 2.
I’m glad you’re enjoying it. Happy Questing! 😊
BoboVR website says M3 Pro is COMING SOON. And the purchase links in video description lead to M2s. I am confused.
i purchased mine on october 13th on amazon. the day after the amazon prime deals. i kept refreshing the page every 10 minutes that day. finally it showed up as available to purchase and i bought it. then i refreshed the page again and it said it was unavailable. so within 5 minutes it has been sold out.
It's not even listed on Amazon UK yet!
this video is incredibly helpful as im getting a quest 3 soon and i do not want the default headset strap and i desire extra playtime, thanks for making this much love to you.
Thanks so much! Glad it helped you. Enjoy your Quets 3 when it arrives! 😊
Will the quest 3 with bobovr m3 fit in the official quest 3 case ?
No. Halo head straps won't fit in the official meta quest 3 case as it's designed for the elite strap and similar clamshell designed head straps, not Halo ones.
I was lucky enough to order one on the 10th and it will be here on the 21st. Appreciate the vid. It's not the same without this headstrap.
Well did you get it
@@nonpondo_ I did get it on the 19th. Works great. They misspelled quest on the box lol "Qeust". 9 days from order to delivery so I'm happy.
I like the detachable battery, but if you are going to connect the quest to pc via meta link most of the time, it becomes a useless option.
I went to sleep with quest 3 on. Works better than black out curtains.
Why would you do that? Just get an eye mask!
For me the biggest advantage is the double battery life since the mq3 battery drains way to quickly. I average about a minute per percent. Not good
Meta quote battery life anywhere between 1.5 and 2.9 hours of battery life depending on what you're actually doing on the headset, so 100 minutes is within range, albeit the low end. It still sucks though so any additional battery life is a good thing!
LOVE YOUR CHANNEL. Brilliant. Informative. Just right! Cheers mate!
Thanks so much! Glad you’re enjoying the channel! 😊
I have no idea why but I struggle with this strap. It feels heavy and seems like I have to crank the pressure to have it stay where I want
had to get the meta elite strap - hoping to get this by the 45 day return window with best buy...
Hi, great video. A few questions. How does the overall weight of this strap compare to elite style straps? Would neck strain be an issue for my kid? (10 years old and smaller)
What about using this with seated experiences on like a couch or something.
Do you know if it will fit the Meta Quest 3 official case? Thank you!
You will need a larger case to fit any halo style headstrap. Bobovr’s C2 case for example. I did a review on it so go check it out! 😊
Will it fit with my official carrying case?
The meta carry cases are designed to fit clamshell style head straps, not halo style ones. So, no. The bobovr C2 case and a number of other cases would fit it though.
What is your preference over the bobo or zyber?
Different strokes for different folks. Depends if you prefer a halo or elite style head strap.
Could you tell me do the new quest 3 and the M3 pro strap fit into the BOBOVR hard case for quest 2??
Yes. It’s not an exact match as the quest 2 and controllers are different shapes, but it does fit.
Can't even get them yet ffs. I ordered the elite strap with batteryfrom meta for now
Great review, thanks.
Is charging fast enough?
Is it the same M2 batteries though?
Not sure they are strong enough to keep the Quest 3 charged from what I hear on forums, Quest 3 uses around 27w with passthrough on, Need stronger batteries or the headset will run out before that BoboVR M2 batteries charge it
the halo padding look like it could get super sweaty
Not in stock :( , had to just get meta one, head hurt to bad
Theres plenty of 3rd party ones on amazon that look the same or better than the Meta elite strap, some with battery too..
Will they be making the fan facial interface?
Which is more comfortable Bobo m3 or elite strap
It depends on what you like more. Some people like halo style head straps and some like the elite clamshell style ones more.
Was hoping for better cable routing. Or ANY cable routing. Would also be be great if the charge station could charge the controllers. 😊
Hello just wondering does it fit in the original quest carry case ?
No. You will need a larger case like the bobovr C2 case or the large syntech case. Both of which I’ve reviewed on this channel.
@@MyTechGearGaming That's great I appreciate your work, I'm off now to hit that sub button TOP MAN!
Is the M2 battery compatible with the M3 head strap?
Yes
Hello, I installed the headrest incorrectly. Can it be removed and rearranged?
has anyone in the uk bought it from the bobovr website? did you have to pay customs tax or anything, and how much was it?
I brought it , it cost £48 and had no import taxes or any extra charges, took ages to come tho
Does the battery stay on good? If I move around fast playing a game would it fall off the strap?
I did a shake test in my original review of the M2 Pro headstrap which you can check out here
th-cam.com/video/M-n7FDKyPCA/w-d-xo.html
@@MyTechGearGaming Preciate it bro
could you do a comparison video with the bobo headset and the elite strap with battery?
To be honest, I had so many of the official elite straps for the Quest 2 snap on me that I'm unlikely to buy another Meta head strap ever again. There are, or rather will be, far better and cheaper alternatives out there.
Are the batteries the same as the M2? I have the Bobo for my Quest 2 and would like to know if it uses the same batteries.
Yes, they’re the same batteries.
I love there stuff and opinions it’s the only head strap I ever use
What about PCVR, are you able to still connect the Q3 with that Head Strap + Battery to a PC via the USB-C Port ?
no. it's one or the other. and that goes for any head strap. when you connect to pc your headset will get its power draw over that usb cable instead.
@@MyTechGearGamingThanks for the fast response, that's a shame, I would of got that head strap there and then.
Is there a version of that head strap without the battery ? because I only play PCVR via the USB-C Cable.
Also not available on Amazon yet in the UK so will have to wait.
no stock yet :( excited to try
Doesnt the battery just fly off when in high intensity games?
No. The 🧲 are pretty strong. I did a shake test when I reviewed their previous m2 pro head strap for the quest 2 which is exactly the same battery and dock which you can check out here ->
th-cam.com/video/M-n7FDKyPCA/w-d-xo.html
Hey my tech, just wanted to clarify something. Does the boboVR headstrap come included with a battery, or do you have to buy one separate from their battery accessories page on the website?
It comes with 1 battery. You can buy extra if you want to separately though.
Too bad it's not available to buy anywhere. Is there a model with the built in headphones? Like the BoboVR A2 Air?
The A2 Air was an add-on for the M2 head strap. So hopefully they release similar for the M3 in the near future. I would say that the sound on the quest 3 is ALOT better than the quest 2.
mine came with the back foam thing off how do I put it on, should I send it back?
It just velcros onto the backrest.
Does anyone have compared the bobovr with the meta elite battery strap? Which should I buy based on comfort?
@@clunkytoaster maybe that’s the case in the US but not the UK. Never been in stock from release
I just bought one on Amazon UK ,last night
Where can you buy this in the UK?
off the Amazon link in the description. If they’re out of stock though you can either wait til they’re back in stock or you could try the bobovr website directly and see if they have stock too.
Honestly for me the problems are the dots you loosen and fasten the headstrap with, burrowing into the back of my head. Only this time in two different places at once compared to the quest 2
you talking about on the new stock Meta 3 head strap? cause same! instant headache
Ok Es
That factory face gasket is a torture device. It should be at least twice as soft.
@@MyTechGearGaming Have you tested the bobo on virtual desktop at 90hz or 120hz?
I was on 90Hz when I tested PCVR. 120Hz will use more power though.
Does the quest 3 fit in the official Meta Quest 3 case with this head strap attached?
No. Halo headstraps are too tall to fit in the meta case as they design it to fit elite style head straps only.
@@MyTechGearGaming thank you :)
i had the bobo vr m2 for the quest 2, does the battery strap work on the new one?
No. But they are releasing a conversion kit that will allow you to convert the M2 to work with the Quest 3. I’ve got a review for that coming up.
Are the Bobo m2 & m3 batteries compatible with both headsets, are they the same capacity?
Yes, they’re the same battery.
@@MyTechGearGaming Thanks
How is this different to the m2?
It’s pretty much the same as the M2. The only difference is that the arm brackets have been changed so they fit the Quest 3. You can also buy a retro fit kit to convert an M2 into an M3! I did a video on that too so check that out! 😊
Using a knock off the quest 3 elite headstrap I got from ebay for $25, it will do until the bobo m3 headset is restocked.
It is early days and demand must be huge at the moment. There’s people in these comments that have been able to order today so I’d just recommend checking each day.
