Learned something here, as always on YT. Makes you think, at least. I saw set drawings when I worked on the Sony lot years back. They're such artists who take pride in their work, one thing I noticed while tooling around on my golf cart....talented and creative problem solvers. I met one art director and looked at his drawings, then as lighting and other things, set decoration brought it together, I was able to observe the finished work one day. I did computer work connecting networked printers for Xerox, but the things I saw while there...priceless!
At the end, where he says "thank you" is worth more. I remember that. And I remember when people (in this supposed "caring society") stopped saying "thank you". They stopped because they lost interest and didn't care about the work they did or you did. I would have stayed without the thank you's if the pay compensated the lack of appreciation. But of course the pay went down. So I left.
wow this is so cool seeing my dad in this interview. I'll share this with him for sure!
