I agree, somewhat. The simplistic upbeat hihat can get pretty annoying, especially when it's too present in mix. Less of that, please. But when it's more polyrythmic and more in the background, then the hihat is an imortant element (imo). The mix Concrete is a good example. I think if you removed the hihat from that track, it would suffer.
