What a precious moment for Julie Andrews to be reunited with her “children” (RIP Liesl & Louisa), singing the iconic “Do-Re-Mi” song. I love that they showed the beautiful infamous scene from the “Sound of Music” movie when everyone is so young, playing & singing on the magical hills. Some of the “children” look older than Julie or that Julie is always forever young at heart, spirit & body. She’s been a memorable part of everyone’s childhood. God bless Dame Julie Andrews! 💗🎵💛🎶💚🏔💜

Feeling very emotional seeing the children and Maria again. I watched the movie as a ver young girl with my family and I could relate to the children because I'm in my 60's now. Thank you for the music and joy you brought to our lives, Sound of Music cast and crew.
A shame Charmian Carr, Heather Menzies and Christopher Plummer could not also be present to honour Miss Andrews, the Von Trapp clan seem incomplete without them! :(

By total happenstance & good fortune, I was present the last time the "children" appeared in person together. It was at the "SOM Sing-along" at the Hollywood Bowl. Charmian Carr passed away the following year. I believe Nicholas Hammond is/was living in Australia, and had traveled to Los Angeles for that special evening. This clip brings back that memorable night.

I watched this movie when i was in highschool. I didnt knew 3:10 why i felt so sad when the movie was intertaining! When i got married to a widow with 3 children just then i understand and relate my life with julie as the charcter in this unforgettable movie.
I’m a 90s baby and this movie’s actually more of my mum’s era. But I did grow up watching it (for multiple times!) and the songs therein will forever stay with me 🙏

My only thought! To many of Julie’s peers have passed away. Oh! If only they had given this honor 10-15 years ago. Would have been a grand reunion.
