    Hi Novi, we from the Netherlands love Indonesian food and as I lived in Malaysia in the past my tastebuds are focused on the specific Southasian tastes. Love your channel and recipes.

    My mother always served gado gado with warm peanut sauce. I really like this contrast between the cold vegetables and the warm sauce. Is this also sometimes done in Indonesia, or is this just a weird dutch twist to it?

    • @novibalikitchen
      @novibalikitchen  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes that is fine, you can cook it first and serve while warm , some people do this here in Indonesia😊

    How is the bowl called, where you smash all the stuff? I am looking for such a thing, as it seems that in Indonesia it is used very often. Didin‘t find it in the web. Maybe you can post a link where to buy a similar one? Thank you!

      I'm not sure but I think it's called a cobek, alternatively you can search for "Indonesian mortar and pestle"

    • @novibalikitchen
      @novibalikitchen  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The bowl is called ULEKAN or COBEK , best to try your local kitchenwareshop . I bought mine on the trip to Java. Good Luck😊
