The Kangra Valley Railway is a 2'6" (762 mm) gauge railway that runs from Pathankot to Jogindernagar. It runs through the sub-Himalayan region of Kangra Valley and is 164 kms long. The railway is part of the Firozpur division of Northern Railway. It is the longest Narrow Gauge line in India and also the longest 2 ft 6 in Gauge Railway in the World. - บันเทิง

We used used to bunk school and roam in this train. Thanks team himbus for refreshing our memories. Back then minimum fare was Rs. 2 and maximum was Rs. 15.

My hometown also same Jawaanwala Shahar
This is lesser known narrow guage train in India. Everyone knows about Nilgiri, Darjeeling Himalayan rail, Kalka-Shimla rail and too some extent Matheran rail. I was quite unaware about this rail untill few months back. This is as beautiful as those trains.

I am from Pathankot but never have chance travel on that train.Some reason left India in 1976 and visited few times mosty kashmir.It is too late to visit and travel. Thanks to show me where i belong.
