this little guy reminds me of dropping enormous stress returning stateside after the Gulf War. I was able to feel a loaded Chilidog and cold Pepsie, mattress bed, a shower, etc. I also didn't have to "gear up" to walk outside to see "civilization" going on around me. I didn't sleep solid for about a week thinking my mind was still seeing things. oh, and oorah, MCRD SD, Nov 1983.

You should always have a blanket to make a "puppy burrito" when you rescue them, as it will keep them warm until you arrive back. And a bottle of water with some quick can food, always helps.
This channel always used to put the rescued puppies straight onto a blanket and feed & water them. What’s happened. I found it very distressing to hear him crying and shaking so badly then just left on the hard Cat mat on the floor or the car . 😢
Can we even fully imagine the joy of the journey from being lost, alone, flea-bitten, sad, and then taken into such loving care? If every human being could adopt a dog or cat, we wouldn't be dealing with the selfishness that afflict us! My wife and I''ve had 27 rescue dogs and 31 rescue cats over the years, having had enough money to care for them, medically. We truly consider ourselves lucky human beings having done so, and we both know that many folks have troubles paying for animal medical bills. When we can contribute to folks trying to provide expensive medication to animal(s), and to animal groups making a positive difference, we're happy to help out. Mind you, we're not rich, but we try to spend our money to help the animal world. I hope more folks with money will do the same --- for the animals and for themselves!

He is so pretty after his bath and all dry. Now he is very playful. He reminds me of my Lady, she was a pure white German Shepard and so smart. She has been gone over 20 years now but I still miss her very much. She loved stuffed animals and was such a good girl. We will always love and miss her. I’m in the US also. Where I live it’s hard. The rescue website are old and the rescues no longer exist. Most active rescues don’t list numbers. When you email or do the online application they don’t write back because they’re full. The only choice is animal control which euthanizes.
Years ago I had a conure (small parrot) who would eat the best parts of his parrot mix and waste the rest. I would jokingly scold him and say "Eat your food, don't you know there are birds starving in Bulgaria? Think of all the starving Bulgarian parrots." So every time you take one of the puppies to that vet I get a little smile. Thank you for all your work.
