What is sad is that people spent so much time to tell their story, and we don't understand the story.

Do you ever wonder what future humans will think when they see 2000-year-old spray paint gang graffiti? "Wow, what were these ancient artisans trying to convey to us?" Then I wonder, "hmm, were these ancient wall arts nothing more than some random hoodlums screwing up other people's property?"
      LMAO

Wow. Pretty cool. Just hope the neighborhood kids always respect the past and dont destroy or just do any damage to the writings. Thanks for the adventure.

Hats off to the residents in the area, for preserving those glyphs. May they last another thousand years.

Wow, Chris, just think about having a miniature National Park right in your own subdivision. I sure hope the neighbors appreciate and respect the amazing treasure they have right in their midst. Thanks for sharing, God Bless and stay safe.

I grew up just a couple miles from there in Washington Fields. My grandfather had land with them on it too. Up high on a bluff on the west side. Thank you for this man. Keep up the good work.

We have the same thing all over Arizona. People have petroglyphs on their properties. Many people find pottery, ruins, and tools from ancient civilizations on their property as well. There are fb groups devoted to this.

These petroglyphs were finally deciphered in early 2021. From what I've read, they loosely translate to, "We've been trying to contact you about your car's warranty..."

There are a lot of theses petroglyphs around there I am nature and wildlife photographer and before my husband passed we photograph a lot some right along the road and there is a really awesome one around there if you go to a visitor center they could tell you but you have to be guided in because the land is owned by an Indian tribe and they do not let. You go alone because idiots try to destroy it. Enjoy I love all the hidden gems in Utah. Love your channel. From Pennsylvania. Stay safe.

Cool video. Thank you. I'm looking forward to your arrival and subsequent adventures in Nevada. Of course, Nevada is one of the world's famous tourist traps, but I know that you'll find really interesting places and things to see, as you explore the state. Kudos.

That huge rock could be a calendar that was marked with special events like ceremony, other tribes visiting or the Egyptian visiting, the circles are probably a 24hr mark for the sun.

Thats amazing to see! What am wondering why build a neighborhood right where these boulders are showing evidence of really old Ancient Petroglyphs thousands or years old and only hope they dont get too damaged from others wanting to engrave their initials all over it. Thanks for sharing!

The Fremont People left their graffiti all over Utah (mostly) but extends to the surrounding states. You can even find some in Saguaro National Park in southern Arizona.
Since the area is a desert (mostly) with little environmental erosion, they're not that rare.

It's sad that that area of Utah is probably one of the few places in the nation where you could leave petroglyphs in the middle of a neighborhood without the local kids fukn it up.

There is a problem with those petroglyphs. There are at least 2 crosses that are attributed to Templar Knights. Those spiraling circles are attributed to stars and usually speak of alignments. Also mixed with several different age periods. Given the hodge podge mixture and the obvious lack of weathering withing the strike markdg, I'm betting this was an art project for the builders of the park. Either that, or the Templars made it to Utah and decided to graffiti another millenniums artwork.

Please, please- don't EVER touch petroglyphs or pictroglyphs. The oil in your hands make the etchings or drawings deteriorate. Yes, so does the wind, snow and rain but oils from your hand are worse. Please be a responsible youtuber- only take pictures and leave nothing behind. Especially your skin oils. Thanks.
