Yeah. I have no Idea why Lionel discontinued their G-Scale line and replaced it with the Ready-To-Play line, but it's made for some really confusing and frustrating situations. For Christmas last year (2023), I wanted the Lionel G-Scale Polar Express, as I had been interested in it for quite some time. However, when I received what I thought was it on Christmas Eve, my excitement turned to frustration when I realized that IT WOULDN'T FIT ON G-SCALE TRACK! I was really confused, so I looked at the listing for it on Amazon, and I was upset when I saw the description for it say something along the lines of "This item is not compatible with Lionel G Gauge or any other g Gauge track system." Frustrated and upset that what I though was the G-Scale Polar Express was not G-Scale at all, I had the set returned for a full refund.
After alot of play, the remote "sounds" (whistle, horn & Engineer's voice), stopped working. Replaced batteries, still no more sounds. Can anyone advise?
Has anyone else had any issue with the speaker on this train? We've had it for two years now and the speaker seems to cut in and out. Anyway to fix this?
