So, Jacqui actually believed she was the imp, knew the mayor win was off the table when Nicky managed to put himself on the block, but for whatever reason, I guess wanted to rub it in the mayor's face, thinking mayor was poisoned, snatched defeat out of the jaws of victory, only to realize she actually won by doing so.
I can't believe I watched this directly after that Pit Hag episode where a hidden good Evil Twin became an evil Fang Gu, by the end of the board there is a dead Vortox, 2 dead Fang Gus, and a dead No Dashii. Two of the greatest rounds of clocktower I've ever witnessed lmao
THIS WAS THE GREATEST GAME I HAVE WATCHED!!! Well done, Ben and Aggie. Giving Damien and Gambling as the Lunatic Jacqui's minions was an awesome ST tactic!
Also - This script is cool. I think an Atheist game with 7 Lunatics that all think they are legion together, plus a bunch of info roles that all yield very conflicting info could be really fun.
OOOH - Give 2 of the legion a slightly different list of other legion. Like player 1 gets told 1,2,3,4,5,6,9 are legion, player 2 gets told 2,3,4,5,6,7,8, when really its 1,2,3,4,5,6,7. Then tell everyone that 10 is their lunatic😈
Aggie mentioned a game on "Chris and Eevee's channel". Does anyone have a link to that channel? Or know the name of it? A quick google isn't really doing it for me
Hey Mike, that's one way to do it. You can out two different demon tokens in the bag and then decide which of the two will be the Lunatic and which will be the real one after tokens are drawn. However, this can make things a little tricky for the real demon to keep up the act if the two demons kill a different number of times each night. The other way to do it is to put the Lunatic token in the bag with one demon. Whoever draws the demon token is the Lunatic, and whoever draws the Lunatic token is the real demon. The Storyteller will need to tell the demon what demon they are on night one. - Evin
What an amazing game (and definitely a fun script idea). When I made my bootleg BotC, I wasn't sure what the reminders would be for Lunatic so I went all out. I have three "Minion", three "Bluff", and three "Attack". I figure if it's a Lunatic game, I can use all 9 of them for fellow "Legion" (hopefully). Otherwise, I'll just craft a few "Legion" or blanks for various custom Demon designs. It'll be fun to see what the official ones are. Just attacks? I'm so torn on what my response will be to a Mayor on a hypothetical Atheist game. I feel like if it's arguably hard to convince town to do a Mayor win, then 100% give it to them. However, the point of Atheist (and their ability) hinges on town solving the Atheist game and Mayor is an easy out if it's allowed. (Sure that's torturing the Mayor, but that's more reason to vote ST! 😈) So you could argue that when town feels they've solved Atheist, that's the best time to allow a Mayor win but also the worst. I don't know! I guess I'll just tell the Mayor I'll make a judgment call in the moment whether to allow it, so the safe thing to do is actually try to solve if a sober Atheist is in play before pushing a Mayor win. I like Ben's point on if the Mayor has been working hard for a Mayor win all game, too. If I feel like the Mayor lazily waited till final 3 or 4 to out and just pushes a win with their ability, I won't allow it. If they heavily invested and convinced some people to sneak in a Mayor win, I'll likely allow it.
Yes, in an Atheist script, the Storyteller can be nominated and executed. If a player is the Atheist at the beginning of the game, then there are no evil players, the storyteller can break the rules (give poisoned information to anyone, have multiple players with the same character, etc). However if the Atheist Is not in play and the storyteller Is executed, evil wins.
with all of the people claiming lunatic in this game, I now really want to see an atheist game with like 7 lunatics that all think they are imps and see each other as their lunatics and minions. Maybe throw a magician in the script so they can also see an extra minion.
MAN what a disappointing ending to an otherwise amazing game...Evil had a guaranteed win like 3 times and just needed to speak up to each other. A single "evil rise up" man Oh well, it's just a personal disappointment. Keep the great videos coming.
If they said “Evil rise up” at any point and Nicky puts his hand up, Jacqui immediately puts two and two together. With Nicky and Gambling having both used their dead votes, they had done everything they could’ve to win the game.
@@meathir4921 I disagree, but at that point weret just guessing what might have happened in an alternate universe. I believe that while Jacqui is a good player, they were pretty sure they were evil. If Damian had just caused panic last day and been like "I didn't poison her we need this vote to win" that they would have gone along with it. Again though, who knows?
@@TheGamerShelter There’s enough good votes on board to tie, and they’re smart enough to notice since there’s literally zero reason for Damian not to poison the obvious Mayor.
That is definitely another hypothetical possibility. But seeing as how the alternative ended in a guaranteed loss; it's one that I see as worth trying.
I just don't get Jams so obsessed with damian. Literally nothing but suspicion on him for no reason other than he got on the block and off. The fact she won't kill Chris is kind of insane. I mean she was right but had no viable reasons based off data.
Jams is a VERY dangerous townsfolk from what I've seen in these games. They have a strong natural intuition and a brain that can very easily world build. Damian and Gambling had a VERY long conversation day 1 and a followup conversation on day 2 which is a little suspicious when townsfolk don't really have too much to discuss and are just trying to gather as many potential claims as possible. With a spy in script, this then becomes incredibly suspicious seeing two people in a very long conversation day one. And then with a followup of atheist claim from Gambling I can see this setting off alarm bells in many players heads if they're paying attention. And then realistically, Damian wasn't really giving ANYTHING in the following days besides "I'll have more information soon" which is vague and also a bit too obvious for an actual Ravenkeeper who wants to bait the night kill (not that they would if spy is in play). Do I necessarily agree with Jams throwing away a Fortune Teller ping and general sus vibes on Chris to push Damian on day 2 or 3? Not really but we didn't really listen into any of Jams private conversations in the early days to listen to their thoughts or the information they gathered - and with hindsight and perfect information, they were completely right. For what it's worth I'm not too convinced of the logic of "Look how hard it was to get him on the block" on day 2 just because we constantly see evil team members vote themselves onto the block and when that argument was made, there were plenty of other weird interactions that needed to be tested first over a possible suspicious interaction. At that point I think there was still a failed Virgin proc to explore (claimed virgin and nominator still alive) and I think either that day or the following was when the Fortune teller ping on Chris happened so I don't put much stock into that argument as well. I'm just saying we weren't seeing Jams' game AT ALL early on so we don't know what they were thinking.
Jacqui: Is shown the imp, Is actually the lunatic, but wins like a politician
That was such a crazy final day. I can't believe Jacqui managed to set up a situation where she won as both lunatic and imp
In a way, it was the correct play: if she was the demon, it was a win. If she wasn't a demon, it was a win.

All the Lunatic disappointments were worth it, just for this masterpiece of a game
Oof thinking evil had it in the bag only for them to lose to Jacqui nominating herself for a tie HURT
Jams: " Nicky I'll vote on this. "
Nicky votes anyway
Nicky: " Ah, unfortunate. "
Beautiful heel turn

Damien had to tell Jacky the plan wasn't followed and not to vote 😂 she really wanted the failed mayor win
Why did Damien and gambling not just yell at Jackie not to nominate? They had the game won.
Exactly! Damien should have just said he poisoned the undertaker.
Easy to be critical in hindsight
One of the best games I've seen !! Interesting all the way. And I was on the edge of my seat at the end (genius play by Nicky btw, I laughed so hard).
Best final day ever. This truly was the premier league of clocktower.
Watching through the back catalogue of shows. This was an absolute banger!
this was such a blast to watch 🥰 this is why i love Clocktower :D
That was a juicy game right from the start: Eevee's mind games were superb!
That mayor ruling fucked Gambling so hard lmao
That was so well played by everyone
What a game. Incredible.
I'm gutted for evil

Votes to 'lose' the game to secretly win the game (poisoned mayor)

Imagine an atheist game with 7 lunatics who think they are legion
Oh....OH! I thought if the atheist is killed, good wins, and I couldn't understand what is happening. It's if the STORYTELLER is executed, good wins?
That's exactly it. There are no demons in an atheist game. Good wins when the storyteller is executed.
