Just look at LOL, Dota or CSGO, thats how it should be done, not how Fortnite has been doing it so far

Nah, I am a medium skill player (1.25 k/d), so rather average... But it's good getting challenged by better players and also fighting not so good players It's good from both perspectives...
Funny how up to now every sweaty tryhard had been yelling that Epic should add in "skill based matchmaking" so that they wouldnt have to play with "noobs", but once Epic adds it (only to Solo at the moment), the same people are complaining that their matches are too hard now.
Jarick05 why should the people who worked to get good at the game now be punished by having to try every single fight only to die. It’s impossible to win since there is no siphon. Whenever you get into a fight against another good player they will take off some of your health and you will waste mats only for you to kill them and another good player comes and you don’t have any mats or heals. Players like me who are on console who are really good at the game are getting matched against pc players who could possibly have 240 FPS

I am currently on holidays in Sydney for the NRL grand final. I was at the Event Cinema when I saw Muselk come around the corner. Skill based matchmaking should definitely be in this game. For the player like me who like to play more games than just fortnite, I’m no where near as good as people like you. And when I run into players like you and fresh every time I load into a game and land, I just don’t want to play anymore. Anyone who would just say “well then get good noob”, well not everyone has 6-12 hours a day to build battle and practice on fortnite. I work full time, have tons of bills to pay, help my wife In nursing school, I’d just rather play a more casual game whenever I do play Xbox than to get shat on every single match by every single player I run into. It’s just discouraging. And for the pros and gods at this game who hate skill based match making, that’s just because you just want to feel good about destroying casual players like me. The only problem I can see with high level arena players and pros are just the queue times.

They should do a duos mode called Follow The Leader or Commander. In this mode one of the duos will be the "leader" and any gun he picks up, their partner also gets and they can't put it down unless the leader does. Basically the leader determines all the weapons the partner will use.

It’s not that. The main reason people like me complain is because epic has been catering noobs for the past 5 seasons. People who are new to the game can get good from creative and playground, why is epic baby feeding them. If noobs cared that much then go into creative and practice.
@@christianroberts23 First off, hello. Second, so I do get the sentiment on what you are stating, however, what I feel people tend to forget is the new player experience. Yes in general practicing to be good should be rewarded and those who put the time that lose to those that don't due to some randomized variable is rather tilting. This I agree with, however, as previously stated people forget the new player experience. This is not like pre-season 1 or what not where people didn't know building. It is, well was, quite possible for a noob/bad player to enter the matches of decent to high level players. This makes for a polarized playing experience. The bad player getd stomp and thats no fun, the good player gets kills which is fun for them. Now yes, i agree this is the result of the better skilled playing winning which is much more even, but, again new players. To ensure a constant flow, or bigger flow, of new players and retaining them...epic needs new players to get wins. This is why things they do tend to be noob friendly. Now I do agree some things are overdone such as the mechs, even as an admittedly bad player I really didn't see the fun in mechs besides,"oh cool I am a mecha pilot" which i could get from other games. Now to answer the direct sentiment of,"new players that care much to get wins should go into creative and practice" this is a sentiment that logically makes sense, that i agree with, however, if a new player hops on to give the game a quick try they don't exactly want to spend hours grinding and such. This new player wants to jump in, get into a game, and have a "fun time". I put fun time in quotes because fun time is subjective but usually this person wants to win. They lose their first game, they get tilted, so they try for lets say three or four times if they don't a win than they more than likely stop playing. Now to you that is not an issue as thats just one noob who didn't want to dedicate time gone, however, to epic thats just one customer gone. Overall, I agree with your sentiment. It makes logical sense. However, it forgets that epic still desires to bring in new people and that the game not being noob friendly is a rather bad stance. At the end of the day, players that hard core grind the game may be vocal but they are the vocal minority. The new players/noobs or bad players tend to be the majority. I do apologize for such a lengthy response, I do just enjoy commenting on things like player retention, player engagement, and obtaining new players.

Skill based matchmaking should definitely be in this game. For the player like me who like to play more games than just fortnite, I’m no where near as good as people like you. And when I run into players like you and fresh every time I load into a game and land, I just don’t want to play anymore. Anyone who would just say “well then get good noob”, well not everyone has 6-12 hours a day to build battle and practice on fortnite. I work full time, have tons of bills to pay, help my wife In nursing school, I’d just rather play a more casual game whenever I do play Xbox than to get shat on every single match by every single player I run into. It’s just discouraging. And for the pros and gods at this game who hate skill based match making, that’s just because you just want to feel good about destroying casual players like me. The only problem I can see with high level arena players and pros are just the queue times.

When you realize that skill-based matchmaking doesn't stop fresh from getting 15 kills
They should do a duos mode called Follow The Leader or Commander. In this mode one of the duos will be the "leader" and any gun he picks up, their partner also gets and they can't put it down unless the leader does. Basically the leader determines all the weapons the partner will use.

It’s not that. The main reason people like me complain is because epic has been catering noobs for the past 5 seasons. People who are new to the game can get good from creative and playground, why is epic baby feeding them. If noobs cared that much then go into creative and practice.
@@christianroberts23 First off, hello. Second, so I do get the sentiment on what you are stating, however, what I feel people tend to forget is the new player experience. Yes in general practicing to be good should be rewarded and those who put the time that lose to those that don't due to some randomized variable is rather tilting. This I agree with, however, as previously stated people forget the new player experience. This is not like pre-season 1 or what not where people didn't know building. It is, well was, quite possible for a noob/bad player to enter the matches of decent to high level players.
This makes for a polarized playing experience. The bad player getd stomp and thats no fun, the good player gets kills which is fun for them. Now yes, i agree this is the result of the better skilled playing winning which is much more even, but, again new players.
To ensure a constant flow, or bigger flow, of new players and retaining them...epic needs new players to get wins. This is why things they do tend to be noob friendly. Now I do agree some things are overdone such as the mechs, even as an admittedly bad player I really didn't see the fun in mechs besides,"oh cool I am a mecha pilot" which i could get from other games.
Now to answer the direct sentiment of,"new players that care much to get wins should go into creative and practice" this is a sentiment that logically makes sense, that i agree with, however, if a new player hops on to give the game a quick try they don't exactly want to spend hours grinding and such. This new player wants to jump in, get into a game, and have a "fun time". I put fun time in quotes because fun time is subjective but usually this person wants to win. They lose their first game, they get tilted, so they try for lets say three or four times if they don't a win than they more than likely stop playing.
Now to you that is not an issue as thats just one noob who didn't want to dedicate time gone, however, to epic thats just one customer gone.
Overall, I agree with your sentiment. It makes logical sense. However, it forgets that epic still desires to bring in new people and that the game not being noob friendly is a rather bad stance. At the end of the day, players that hard core grind the game may be vocal but they are the vocal minority. The new players/noobs or bad players tend to be the majority.
I do apologize for such a lengthy response, I do just enjoy commenting on things like player retention, player engagement, and obtaining new players.
