      Well done. I can't get enough distance with a 20 but they'll all work.
      I've got a 55g I'd like to try but too heavy for my rod I use
      We head back this month 😀
      Hope you had fun

    Hey mate. Some great fish.. what's your favourite set up for casting slugs?

    • @IndefiniteLeave
      @IndefiniteLeave  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Blake. I have a 10ft 6 Shimano Rod with Salt reel. Need a new reel soon though, this one has had too many waves come over the top of it now.
      I have 3 surf rods but never use them now.
      30 or 40g Halco Twisty slug I find is a great all round lure for a wide variety of fish all around Oz so it tends to be my go to :)

      Thanks for the info mate, will definitely be grabbing some of the halco's.. been looking at a shimano catana 4-7kg rod online , seems very cheap but has some good reviews.

      @@blakemorris3880 mine is the Catana Coastline 3-5kg. Bit light for the 40g Halco but that's what I use mostly. 😀

      @@IndefiniteLeave ok thanks that's great. was their a specific tide you would fish at?

    • @IndefiniteLeave
      @IndefiniteLeave  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@All4Survival no, fished all tides but just different locations depending on tide. Low tide I'd fish the back of holes and higher tide more the gutters. :)
