adam reed literally propelled the genre of comedy to a WHOLE NEW LEVEL, which if you do not follow comedy means he has the same effect as dave chappellle or kat williams on culture! not an easy feat!
What’s weird is that pretty much every other show on television has a whole team of writers, but Archer is pretty much all Adam Reed. Occasionally there are some other writers but pretty much the whole show is written by him. That may be part of why the seasons are so short but still.
Trey Parker is another great example. Trey Parker and Adam Reed are worth more than any team of writers. Nobody matches their talent, creativity, and humor, so they need very little help and feedback from others.
The gate is definitely more open now. I hope it continues to widen. Adam Reed is the poster man for creative independence. That interviewer dude should have apologized for flubbing FX and calling them Netflix, but like me probably, he doesn't have cable and only watches it on Netflix ( or VUDU for the latest season).
You can tell he's a really intelligent guy if you have seen the show all the smart dialogue, humor and cultural references are just insane
