Leland Tilden and his Students Win at Gymnastics on the Flipside ...World's tallest acrobat Leland Tilden (six foot five) improvises a floor routine on carpet (no spring) at regionals in Toronto, 2010. A coach for Regent Park Gymnastics Club, Leland receives the gold medal. In this instance, it is for "creativity, cool hair and awesome tumbling." Accolaides Olympians from Rio can only dream of receiving. Needless to say, Leland Tilden has been likened to Simone Biles. Considering he is more than three times her standing height, it is safe to say that the whole final five could likely combine into a megazord and still not beat Leland Tilden at Power Rangers.

Leland's routine, performed on a hard surface much like grass or concrete on strips of roll out mats includes roundoff backhandspring back tuck, Y scale cartwheel back handspring step out layout step out, front handspring step out roundoff back tuck, standing back tuck back limber, handstand full piroette stop front roll to handstand straddle half back handspring step out back tuck and roundoff back handspring back tuck. Leland recieves a gold medal, first place for his routine or exercise on the floor, and poses for a photoshoot with his Regent Park athletes who he coaches at Regent Park community centre.

Wow footage of the elusive Leland! The stepouts get another gold medal from me! It's a shame regionals was on an unsprung mat, I hate tumbling on anything less than spring floor these days. Next time I'm in Toronto maybe I can get tips on my pathetic back walkover :D
