Ghost Note So is looking into they're backgrounds and determining any reason as to why they may not being truthful. The man they're accusing is dead, and no longer able to defend himself. Taking accusations at immediate face value is dangerous. Just look at Jussie Smollett.

    • @ghostnote-6
      @ghostnote-6 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

@@wut-dah_7212 Sure, but is that what you're seeing? People acting in good faith, looking into things in order to get to the truth? Or more like people latching onto and twisting anything they possibly can to support the narrative they've been following for decades? There are some of the former, but I see mostly the latter.
And it seems like the only reason for these allegations that the pro-Jackson side can come up with is money. The same thing said about every Jackson accuser, and everyone that's accused a rich person of anything, ever. Saying they're doing it for the money, absent anything else, isn't compelling. Their stories were compelling. And to those who have experience dealing with the system, and victims of sexual abuse, they were entirely believable.

Just because Michael didn’t touch Corey means absolutely nothing. Believe what you want but that’s literally means nothing. Serial killers and rapists can have children, be married and have close relationships with people who never expected them to be killers. I’m not saying I believe or not but that’s just not a good enough point for people to keep bringing up.

A judge looked at all the evidence, and said neither witness was credible, at least twice. The documentary is about stirring up public sympathy, in hopes of cashing on their hard luck, "I'm a failure, because I was traumatized", story. Both men blamed Michael Jackson for being failures. Robson blamed him for telling him he would be the next Spielberg. And he admitted he felt like an utter failure because he couldn't live up to those expectations. And Safechuck, blamed Michael because he told him and his parents to pursue a different career path, than the one he actually planned on pursuing. Court documents show that both men changed their stories on numerous occasions, told conflicting stories, and both are in financial binds. If it's not about money, why does the documentary dance around the fact that they have been suing his estate for millions?

You probably wouldn’t , why.. because it’s inappropriate. Yet All these people around Michael who were hired by Michael let this occur , FOR YEARS!!!! I don’t care if those men are lying or telling the truth in the doc , by MJ as a grown adult male even asking a 7-10 year old boy to sleep over and sleep in his bed is cause for Major Concern!! He should of NEVER been allowed to EVER be able to do that , I blame the parents and of course MJ !! That alone is flat out wrong .. and you should never ignore that !! It does NOT make it any better that multiple kids were sleeping in his room even if he was “sleeping on the floor”.. which ok there you go doesn’t prove that he didn’t do something In private with those kids, the problem is MJ kept putting himself in a situation where he CAN be accused of molestation And wrong doing. After being accused the first time WTF DIDN’T HE STOP HAVING CHILDREN SLEEP OVER HIS HOUSE!!.. Why did he NEED to continue doing that , that’s the question you should ask yourself, in life if you are doing something that all it does is causes you problems wouldn’t you stop that , unless he couldn’t stop , hmm why couldn’t he stop?? Well maybe because he was a sick man that needed to have little boys sleep over in his house that to me right there are RED FLAGS going off left and right. I’m not saying MJ didn’t care for these kids, I truly think he loved them that’s why it was so easy for him to manipulate them, it came from a real place , the problem was he also liked them sexually, he can care for people and still do awful things that’s how a predator hides in plain sight , and that’s why these children had difficulty speaking up because they truly loved and admired Michael so there little brains could not accept that he was doing awful things to them, that’s how molestation occurs and they say it’s usually by someone you look up to and admire.

Agreed, people need to be more open minded on this. Forget all the accusations, Michael was a grown man that had a fascination with being around children all the time...that in itself is a little strange. I’m not saying he did it, but for people to be acting SHOCKED and like there is no way this is even possible is laughable. I find it ironic that when Abducted in Plain Sight came out everyone and their mom were looking at those parents appalled like how could you miss all those red flags, plus they had the man sleeping in the same bed as their daughter...but MJ comes out of his mouth saying he doesn’t see a problem with sleeping in the same bed as a child and some fans are still blinded to the fact that he could’ve been capable of this. Idk I’m on the fence like you and I do have conflicting feelings about this being made after he’s passed when he still has immediate family members alive but it’s not blasphemous for this to be true if you just look at how Michael was as a man. Any normal grown man wanting to hang out with kids that often would be a red flag to most but because he’s Michael Jackson people don’t think it’s odd. Like the mental gymnastics some people are doing is CRAZY.

also, funny u mention latoya, cause latoya was actually the only honest one in the family. back in the 80s she decided to tell the truth about joe jackson sexually abusing her and her sister rebbie. she also talked about michael being a child abuser in multiple interviews. the entire jackson clan shunned her for telling the truth. she eventualy walked back her statements, probably cause it was too lonely out ther eon her own, with her entire family slandering her in the press. but go ahead and youtube those videos of her. she says it all. and this was back in the 80s before the first accuser ever came forward.

I have four daughters , I haven’t watched no intention of watching either , the man isn’t here to defend himself there is very little context here at all they had the opportunity to tell their story or at least one of them in court said testimony could have changed the entire case , instead I think its wade testified on Jackson’s behalf.
I believed him then I had no reason not to , he changes his story and I’m supposed to believe you after you admitted that you lied ?
Not saying that Jackson was/is innocent I’m. A father and the boys parents must have been aware at least on some level of the accusations surrounding Jackson and the still allowed their children around him , I would never have let that happen , and I certainly wouldn’t have left my child alone with him , I just wouldn’t have felt comfortable.
The fact that both have apparently tried to sue the estate makes me somewhat skeptical , like I said I’m a father , you haven’t got enough money to buy my daughters off , no amount of money could ever compensate that kind of ordeal .

If they lied and they should be sued for defermation of character and should be charged for false allegations... There it clears it up either way

I believe the story. How their families were torn apart and the consistent allegations by several boys throughout Michael's years are too much that can be disregarded. Although, I think it was an incredibly stupid mistake for Wade to have filed that lawsuit for millions of dollars. It is natural for many people to respond to that thinking this whole story is fabricated and financially motivated. And even though they supposedly are not profiting from this documentary, it can be viewed as some type of damage control after their lawsuit was dismissed.
As to Culkin's and Feldman's testimonies, those are totally irrelevant. Just because no abuse happened with them does mean it could not have happened to any of the hundreds of boys that were very close to Michael.

I think some people as per the comments below are being completely naive in regard to abuse and the power of the Hollywood star machine back in the day and 'how the ranch was raided and 'nothing was found'.
As one of the guys said in the documentary, ' we don't have megastars like that anymore' and we don't. A lot of people had a lot to loose including some very powerful figures in the entertainment business at the time. Covet ups do happen and we saw this in the UK repeatedly with various very big TV stars of the day back in the pre millennium period and how even the instructions at the time aided and abetted with the star machine.
Given the comments aimed at Josh as an example, whilst the documentary was one sided I don't believe these two guys would have come forward to make 'stuff up', given the hate fuelled rhetoric seem here against Josh which will be far worse for them.
They will also no doubt be on the receiving end of death threats etc
Michael was an extremely talented guy and music speaks for itself.
He had an extremely unusual upbringing and as I said many times in conversation about him, I cannot remember a time even when I was a little kid, that he was not famous. He was always there.
All these things would have had an effect on the person he became and in many ways he was a victim also.
For those attacking Josh, I seriously think you need to reflect on what you say and consider why you deemed this acceptable

That’s all the evidence I need to know this man is not normal!!.. This man was accused.. not once but twice in a trial for accusations of molestation and he CONTINUED to have random kids hang out with him at his house..number 1 if he didn’t do anything wouldn’t he be smart to stop having kids stay the night with him so no more accusations can be filed on him .. and number 2 why didn’t he have cameras all over his house so if something like this would ever happen you have video proof nothing occurred .. this man had more money than he needed .. but he was a sick man who got whatever he wanted .. we shouldn’t be shocked this occurred .. we should be embarrassed that we as fans ignored what was staring us in the face because we wanted to believe he could never be a bad person!! not convinced personally, sorry. way too many inconsistencies, plus the mother of all conflicts of interests. when you take all the problematic aspects of these two, that one guy being happy to continue working, wanting a job on the circe du soleil production (actively choosing to have the supposedly trauma inducing predator as an ongoing topic of his professional life), and only when he didnt get it, the year after that he starts trying to sell a tell-all book? and when nobody found it convincing, then trying to quietly sue a shitload of money out of the MJ estate and being rejected by courts? being together with the niece (so much about him being "in love" with the supposed predator), failing to mention any of this, failing to have anyone else tell their view that might not go well with his narrative, to the point where that "kid after him" had to go on twitter and basically tell them "speak for yourself, and take me out of your smear documentary or i will sue you"?
and the other guy only being inspired to "remember" once he saw the first guy on tv talking about a 1,xbil. dollar lawsuit?
plus years of FBI investigation, years of being hunted by that tomforgothisname guy, house raided, all computers taken, and...nothing?
so heres the thing: personally i actually dont care all that much about michael jacksons music or the guy himself. not my genre. but logic alone seems to dictate to me that theres an equally convincing case to be made that, once michael jackson agreed to that settlement in the 90s, he basically told the world "look, heres a method to get a shitload of cash even if i deny all of this". the way things went fit a LOT better into a pattern one would expect from that.
noone will ever know for sure. but since it was those guys decision to move this to the court of public opinion, they cant complain whena significant part of the public says "does not pass smell test". maybe what they say is true, but after years of greed and trying to milk this story for cash they really very much destroyed their own credibility.

I still haven't watched this documentary, but I still have some thoughts. First of all, if your convictions surrounding sexual abuse fall apart the second that a celebrity that you like/admire/respect is accused of such a crime, then you cannot consider yourself an ally. That lack of belief in victims is why so few come forward, and the statistics surrounding false allegations are so low, that it's usually very unlikely that they're lying. Secondly, I remember watching a documentary called "Living with Michael Jackson" on a British television channel (ITV) when I was around 11 or 12 years old. I found the documentary so haunting, creepy, and intense, I stayed up late to finish watching it on the TV set in my bedroom, because it was such a deeply fascinating piece of insight into the life of an - at best - very eccentric man. What I saw, when he spoke about children sharing his bed, displayed evidence to me of the systematic grooming of minors. The way that he told the boy that "if you love me, you'll sleep in the bed", and the way the boy was so disturbingly (physically) close to him. This was before Jackson was taking to court the second time on allegations of sexual assault of minors. I remember the day the verdict was passed, and hearing that he'd been acquitted of all charges, and it made me sick. I've never felt so sure in my life than I did that an injustice took place in that courtroom. Also, in the initial vote, three members of the 12 person jury believed he was guilty. One juror stated he only changed his vote because he didn't feel they could prove it to the point of being "beyond reasonable doubt".
In conclusion, it is not unusual for victims of abuse, especially those who have been groomed, to display an element of strong loyalty to their abusers, and even to feel love and affection for them. It's very similar to the sort of psychological effects of Stockholm Syndrome on prisoners of war. Also, habitual groomers often groom the parents of their intended victims before even beginning with the child themselves, which is why so often they are able to get away with their behaviour. I hear some people say that "no true victim" of abuse would accept money in out-of-court settlements if they were truly victims, but often it was the families of the victims settling, and their may be instances where a victim feels it is the least they're owed for essentially being traumatised to the point it could ruin their life. In retort, I pose to you a similar strawman argument of asking "what innocent person would pay off their accuser if they really didn't do anything?", it's the same moral dilemma. Finally, we also have to remember that many victims of trauma and abuse actually build mental blocks in their own minds, erasing their memories of the things that happened to them. Often they don't recall their abuse until it's unlocked through some pretty intense therapy years later. In other words, for many of the reasons shown here, just because one of his victims claimed he wasn't molested when asked previously, doesn't mean he wasn't.

Collider Live- Thank you for speaking on such a difficult topic. I know you are getting slammed relentlessly by viewers' comments because Michael Jackson is so beloved and people do not want to believe this could have happened, but as a Family Counselor who has worked with kids and families victimized by sexual assault and years of sexual grooming, almost always by trusted people to the victims, I know how important it is to increase social awareness on this issue. I've worked with kids for almost two decades, but it wasn't until my current position where I truly started to understand how insidious and deeply rooted the process of manipulation of children and young adults goes for the purposes of sexual assault. And it's not just the intended target or targets that get manipulated. Anyone around that target in a position of any kind of authority will become part of the process of manipulation as well. Sexual predators are, more often than not, masterful tacticians when it comes to getting what they want. I have not yet watched the documentary, but plan to do so with as much of an open mind from all perspectives as I possibly can. If Michael Jackson is guilty of these crimes, a big part of the push-back you and anyone who believes so is getting from the public is the difficulty in accepting that WE ALL were victims of manipulation by someone we wanted to trust and adored. Again, thank you for the courage to talk about this issue. And to anyone who wants to drown out discussion about this documentary who has not seen it yet, I would say, if you truly are passionate about this, watch the documentary first with an open mind as well, and then take some time afterward to reassess your thoughts and opinions. You may even learn something that could help you prevent someone you care about from being victimized in this way.

There’s nothing to joke about when it comes to children being sexual abused and even worse when the victim wants the abuse. It’s obvious your too much of a fan to have a realistic approach to this issue. Unless you knew MJ personally then there is no reason for you to defend him. Fans don’t have the right to call people liars just because they like who is being accused.

I am not a Michael Jackson fan - I actually got more interested in the man in the past few weeks than I've been my whole life - but I agree with those who say that "Leaving Neverland" is completely pointless and possibly even malign. Not only it's utterly one-sided (with the director himself stating "What's the point of interviewing someone who says that Micheal Jackson was a good person?" - yeah, he really said that), but it doesn't have any fact or evidence to back up its claims. Just because someone says something happened doesn't make it true and that's all there is in the 4+ hour film: people saying stuff. The only "evidence" is the ring Jackson allegedly gave Safechuck, which bears no inscriptions, has not been examined by anybody, could've been bought anywhere and, if you look carefully, the guy's fingers are too small to actually fit it NOW at 40. On the other hand, we have two accusers who tried to get more than a billion dollars from the Jackson's estate in 2016, only to have the judge throw the case out of court (it's all true - you can fact check it as much as you want). That's fishy, to say the least.

kindest, gentlest souls to walk the planet is now going to go down in
history with the besmirched reputation of 'maybe' and completely
unproven pedophile - all thanks to the dubious testimony of a man who
has completely changed his allegiance to Michael after 2 nervous

sick, confused and broke, and now the Jackson family will have to live
with this dreadful reputation forever. I am boycotting HBO for making

14 counts in 2005 - if your in any doubt, go check out what the 2005
jury, Spike Lee and Tom Meserau all have to say in their interviews.
