    The Memphis Zoo, located in Midtown, is home to more than 4,500 animals including two giant pandas named Ya Ya and Le Le. Opened in 1906, the Memphis Zoo is an accredited member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA).
    Some of the highlights in this video include Cat Country, the Bird House, Once Upon a Farm, the Aquarium, the Herpetarium, Dragon Lair, China, African Veldt, Northwest Passage, Teton Trek, Primate Canyon, Zambezi River, Animals of the Night and more....

    Born and raised in Memphis, Zach and Justin got married in September 2019. After spending hours looking for a perfect videographer, Justin became interested in this form of storytelling. Fast forward to 2020-2021 and he found a lot more time on his hands due to Covid-19. While they can't quit their day jobs and travel around the world, the couple can at least take you around their hometown of Memphis, Tennessee. Come along as they learn filming, editing and explore the world around them.

    LOVE this! Sat here watching through the whole piece. Beautifully done! Saw places we've visited and some we need to come and see. Have a picture from the Commercial Appeal of my mother and some other children riding ponies at the opening of pony rides - not sure of the year but probably about 1920 or so as she was born in 1914.

      It's crazy to see both how much things have changed - the old monkey mountain is gone and the bear exhibits have been completely redone. But other things have remained the same like the Cat Country Cafe and Aquarium. I'm glad you enjoyed the video. I took a walk down memory lane while filming/editing it.
