In this case it was an IRL situation. There were so many mergers with the production company that at one point final space was barely hanging on. Like this show meant a lot to them bc it was so fun and beautiful. The VA for Gary was the one that broke the news to us over TH-cam. He was in tears as he said that Final Space was getting cancelled. And none of the other actors including Tom Kenny(he voiced the CPU for the ship. Has spoken up about a revival ever since.
Yes, a graphic novel will provide closure for the story. While I’m really grateful for that, as a fan, it's not the same since the animation series was cancelled before the final season. A graphic novel can definitely tell the story, but it’s not the animation we all watch and love. Just my 2 cents. But at least we will have a closure! ^^
I don't even care if I'm spoiled. I just wanna know how this whole thing ends. I mean this show beat us half to death and then walked away when it was bored. That's what it felt like last episode. Bolos dead. The other guy is dead. The big Bad is loose with Ash acting as his Herald. Bolo was the last hope these guys had. Only a Titan can beat another titan and the Lord Commander is sealed off.

Really, Gary Actually Got a Nice Great Brilliant Set of Casts. But, His Mother is Terrible Thoigh. Really, His Own Mother Sheryl is Actually Possibly THR WORST Parent in All of Western Animation. Much Worse than the Likes of Odalia Blight, Bojack's Mother, Lois and Peter, and The Likes. Really, All with Unjustifiable Motivations and Without Any Ounce if Commitment to Her Promise to Her Making Up for Things for Gary and His Whole Group. Really.....Just, Terrible....
