God this girl is a truly wonderful human being. when I say wonderful I mean that in a way that just makes you wonder about the amount of courage and perseverance that she had to build up with her dreams and goals aside from all that must have gone through her mind when she decided to step up to such a huge task.

Jessica, your story and travels are such an amazing inspiration to me! I live in Rhode Island, USA and I found your book a week ago. I'm still reading it and enjoying every moment! I'm so in awe of you ... I just turned 44 years old you have inspired me to continue to love and live life to the fullest! Where did you get such drive and confidence?! So wonderful ... I wonder what you are doing now!! Thank you for sharing your story. You are beautiful inside and out. Time to read some more ... I grew up sailing with my family on the Atlantic Ocean ... I am brought back to such wonderful times with your book and videos!!!! My best to you!! And your family!! Was there anything you just could not eat after your voyage?

@kelpend555 And i RESPECT Jessica because i have done sailing (on my dads 14 ft catermaran) and i know what it like. You have to worry about wind direction, rudders, keels, ropes, spiniga's, main sail, tacking, Jibing etc and thats on a small boat in a bay. Could you Imagine sailing a small yacht alone in stormy seas. In the sydney to hobart like 4 people died one year and they do around 1/15 the distance. Thats how dangerous and hard sailing is.

@kelpend555 By nature, we tend to be proud of our sport stars. We tend to identify with them & share the joy in their victories. Australians are proud of Jessica for what she has achieved, for her courage and endurance. Sponsorships only help to make her achievement possible. You are obviously highly intelligent and articulate. You can realise your full potential in some creative activities. However, happiness depends little on fame. It largely depends on our ability to love others.

really impressive...i heard a lot of people moaning like "her dad bought a yacht for her" ... well, money doesn´t buy motivation and the will to do something like this. I know a couple of rich people that wouldn t do more than drive a fast car or have luxury escorts every weekend.

@kelpend555 Not that it is any of your business but i am doing an apprenticeship as a electrician. Im guessing you will say that doing a trade is low life or something but honestly i would rather do a trade which is real work then b a lawyer or accountant or one of them useless people that sit in an office, get really fat and never contribute anything real to a country -_-.
If every lawyer died tomorow what would happen? A few people in court would have to represent themselves.

@kelpend555 and for fuck sake of course she did it for herself and she deserves all the money she gets. Are you telling me you have never done anything for yourself. When you work (If you work) you do it for yourself, when you go on holiday you do it for yourself. Does that mean i should insult you. She followed HER OWN DREAMS. You canot act in some1 elses interest to follow your own dreams or you will just be following their dreams. I just hope you have enough intelegence to understand that.
