I love this track. I always stopped at the town inn to hear it whenever I visited the castle. There is a rune or stone in front of the stairs here, right?
love this game and this track in particular. I actually went back and bought this NES cartridge as teenager and completed game! I'm curious how much of the NES version of this game had any or how much of Richard Garriots control, other than initial game/story. This track is beautifully well written.
it's not that difficult. just dont start as a shepherd XD there are 8 virtues, based on 3 principles. for each virtue you need to find a stone and a rune. with each rune you can enter the shrine of the virtue. for each principle you need to find a specific item. i remember tracking all the moongate combinations. that makes travel much easier. also i kinda abused the virtue system. since it takes a long time to become an avatar, you can afford to mess up your standing in each virtue at the beginning. i scammed the old man who sells herbs so i had 99 of each at the very start, paying just 1 gold for each type of herb. honesty went down to atrocious levels, btu then everytime i went to a town i bought a small quantity of herbs and paid the real price....and slowly but surely my honesty would reach avatar levels around the same time as the other virtues.
@@lifeloather it's a really good game. i played exodus before i played quest of the avatar, it was good but i like quest of the avatar much more. i think i played a bit of ultima 5 and hated it.....havent played any other....
Iolo's Tune💖

When you played the game as a kid day and night on your homecomputer, then you have a shock listening to this... music.
This track always hit a bit harder after giving a few coins to the beggar outside.
the one with the terminal leg rot?

ah yes i remember him. i wonder if his 8 children are still alive.
This game has the most underrated music on the NES.
James Burdick totally agreed!
This game is so fucking hard. I played this game off and on for over a decade and never got anywhere near beating it.

Gonna finish this game I swear it!
How is the Quest? :)
it's been 8 years. did you finish it?
Someone put a lot of work into this song
I really wish they hadn't changed the music for the NES version. At least Ultima 6 for the Snes was kept.
Strawberry shortcake beat lord British Thanks
This is the Pub theme, right?
This is the song of compassion
