Turrican Doom2 mod - aborted

- My feeble attempt to create a Turrican DoomII mod several years ago.
It failed because of the sprites. They've got just too much viewpoints, etc. ;)
Enjoy, what might have been. There are some other DoomII levels which use the Turrican musics, at my page bronko.turrican.eu
Enjoy!
Yes, it's all about the the man in the Turrican suit. Factor 5 did they say they were working on something back in 07.
You think so? Maybe I should resurrect this one time... Maybe if I find someone, who creates the creatures in a 3D program, in order to use snapshots of those models for the sprites...
In my opinion a next gen Turrican should be a third person game as opposed to an FPS.
Yeah, but Factor5 isn't Manfred Trenz, so it could only have become a Super Turrican 3D thingy. ;)
Which as sad as well, that it never happened.
(Note: I'm refering to the SNES Super Turrican's, as the different NES Super Turrican is by Menfred Trenz indeed...)
By the way, are you the genius behind SETA and T002? If so, I emailed you about the GBA version. Will it ever be finished? I long to play Turrican on the plane! Imagine how cool that would be.
That's right, you have to see the man in the Turrican suit, even Manfred Trenz said it.
On the other hand, since when is Doom2 next gen? :D
@shagriml The only way would be, to learn how to use 3D modeling software, and just prerender those sprites.
No, and no. As my name indicates, I'm behind Bronko's Turrican Page, which cooperates with SETA and Turricanforever. Together we form turrican . eu .
And T2002 is from team Pekaro, and they are not behind SETA! :D
Buy an PSP, GP32 or Pandora, and emulate your Turrican, as I consider a release of the T2002 GBA version unlikeley. There is a GBA level1 demo, though.
