Bought this is a pocket light for my work shirt
We often have to briefly go into dark areas and this will make those situations easier to deal with. I dont mind it being cheaply made because I didnt want to pay much.

I like everything except for all that plastic, which is definitely a huge weakness. The keyring cap seems prone to rotate and disconnect easily and that clip doesn't pass confidence even for the very occasional attachment to a shirt or bag, as you showed. If they make it full aluminum i bet it will be successful and competitive!

    Thanks for the review.
Looks like a good light. It's a shame they went with the p9 but I get it, cheap & readily available. But the little flappy usb cover, come on. How much extra would it be to make it seal properly?
Other than that it seems ok for 20 bucks & i do like usb c pd. I'll probably get one for the glovebox.

First I just want to say I am a Wuben fan. I have several and I am familiar with Wuben quality. But this little keychain light I have two major problems with. First the on/off button is difficult to find and even harder to actuate. Its flush with the top of the light and flat. I have a problem even finding it with my finger and a even larger problem of pressing it down correcting to turn on the light. Let me say I bought two of these, when they were first released (a green and a black). One for me and one to give a away. So I have the same problem with both, its a design flaw as far as I am concerned and makes the light less than useful to me. Second the clip is far too weak. One of the things I thought this would be well suite for would be attaching to a shirt pocket so you could use it hands free. Total fail, the thing falls off and forget about clipping it to a shirt pocket if you have keys attached, the clip can not handle it. It does not break it just separates from the flashlight and falls apart. I am now hesitant to give the second one away because as a keychain light although light performance is adequate the physical operation is a fail in my humble opinion. Dear Wuben you make awesome full sized flashlights, maybe leave the keychain lights to the likes of Lumintop and RovyVon.

Interesting thought on the clip. I would either put the keys in your pocket or disconnect them. No reason to have them hanging flopping around.

@@LiquidRetro True and in normal use since all you have to do is twist the attachment fastener its easy to do. I was just trying to make the point that its weak to start with and if you had to stick it on your pocket with keys attached it will for sure fail.

I'll pass on this one, nice idea but poorly implemented. Thanks for the review!

The USB port your major issue?

@@LiquidRetro Yes, not a fan of the USB cover and the overall quality doesn't look great (I might be wrong).
