I don't know what's going on in Japan, but the ladies are just killing it! I don't even like some of the above genres. But it's hard not to be impressed by Japanese women just absolutely shredding where in the west, it was and still is, a very male dominated genre.

I really enjoy your reactions and have had fun watching you discover the girls. I'm one of those people that have a problem with pausing so it always seems a little excessive sometimes. I know you have to pause now and then for copywrite issues. Some people take it to an extreme (Not saying you) and destroy the entire flow and feel of the song. They miss a lot by doing that and it seems like you are not getting the full effect of the song and interrupting what they spent so much time and talent creating. Sure writing yourself good, but that is very western and self promoting thus limits you, but in Kpop it’s a huge team for writing, music, fashion, visuals … so that team effort multiplies the best so this is why you see such great music, music videos, choreography etc. one man show means it’s limited to just one man, why….

I respect this opinion as it gives me more insight to a team effort and all the great ideas going into one thing could be a lot more beneficial than say just 1 person writing everything. However I just personally think for a rapper that's not in a group it's not a good look because it doesn't seem authentic. If your in a group passing around ideas that works as well. not deep in the rap culture. i'm a fan but had to look up why a rapper needs to writh their own lyrics. i can see if those "lyrics" portayed something presented as a very personal message with deep meaning "personally" that is implied it may feel disingenuos to "literally" claim or not give credit to a writer. XG is literally singing and rapping about being space aliens to spread good vibes so i don't really think we literally believe that in any way other than these gals are here to entertain and show their love of music. there is just so much on display with the whole Team of producers and various video and musical productions not to forget choreographers, fashion, set design. It's a big production and we are benefitting from a whole bunch of talents that are coming together to present XG to us.I think they remind us of music we used to like from the 90's 2000's to now and keep it fresh like only they do. What I want is to find out more information about these artists so that my understanding of their art is more intact with their message. I personally see no problem with the way XG moves in terms of lyricist or creativity I just want to clarify that that's what's going on. I in no way mean to disrespect or have anyone believe that me looking for evidence that they write their own lyrics or don't means in anyway that I'm trying to downplay their hard work. I just thought it would be that much cooler that they write/wrote their own stuff. I'm really enjoying XG and reacting to each new tune and video I get sent my way and so with that said I'm literally about to pull up their documentary to see exactly how the ship functions.
