3:15 The fact that it's not called the Mailcat makes me unreasonably pissed off.
Random Soldier: Good news sir we've severed all of America's communications
General: Great ... how?
Random Soldier: we've stolen everyone's mail
General: ... you ... WHAT?
MAIL MAFIA: ALOW US TO INTRODUCE OURSELVES ... WITH FORCE
*"The mighty jungle" by the tokens starts playing*
It's actually the lion sleeps by the tokens@@carbonwolf3865
The old addage "An elephant is a mouse designed by a committee."
The "Keyboard Warrior" bit gets me every time 😂
i talked to Nic about making a BUH shirt, and he liked the idea
The postal drivers really need more air conditioning and/or heaters in their vehicles. So many of them do not have them and they needed them yesterday.
Mail delivery and active warzones are pretty similar depending on where you deliver the mail, so this is kind of a military vehicle
City carrier here. There are actually two big things that obese electron man neglected. First, they report 9mpg in those LLVs. I believe less than half that is more accurate. Second, there is actually no AC system in the vehicle. Only a 6-inch diameter fan that we are explicitly told not to use in the heat because it turns the truck into a convection oven and could kill us.
Oh, and the body seperates from the frame in literally every crash, so please dont hit us. Doubly so because other cars tend to jump the frame and drive over the vehicle.
One more thing: good news for anyone in a rural area: the rural carriers seem to have their new official postal vehicle. It's a turbo driven van made by Mercedes. Its called the metris, and is awkward as hell, but better gas mileage.
This hits too hard because mu aunt, who is the nicest woman on this planet, has done this in one of these shit boxes most of her life
When i hear those drums in the intro, i know my day is about to get a little better, no matter the kind of day it is. Stay awesome
the beads reference is a bit graphic but understandable😂🤣😲🍑🌽
While I was in the Army, I had to get a US Mail Handlers card for my company. I was a 1st Sergeants driver at the time and 1SG didn't want the hassle. I had to deal with the Postal Inspector once. The United States Post Office sent their Officer all the way to Kuwait to question me about a supposed missing package from a Military Spouse to one of my Soldiers in my Company. During questioning this package finally arrived in country post dated way later than the reported date. It was stupid as hell and here I was being threatened to be arrested. When it was all settled she lied and the Officer was leaving I asked if the Officer If they didn't have anything else better to do.
They don't. pretending to be tough is all they have 🤣
Those Jeeps were so iconic, I remember my dad having Avon cologne in a Jeep-shaped bottle. He wasn't even military - he just thought it was cool.
Some places in town use retrofitted personal cars instead of or in addition to mail trucks. As in there's a bunch of Mythbusters-style jury-rigging to let the mail carrier drive from the right seat instead of the left. Though I suppose my hometown in the middle of Minnesota still counts are rural.
As a mail carrier, I can assure you those are almost all certainly personal vehicles
@@mutilator97 Kinda figured, though it must suck setting up the retrofit and taking it down again at the start and end of each shift.
@@brigidtheirish haven't used one myself, since that's a rural thing and I work City side. But I believe it's mainly just undoing a rubber band connecting the steering wheels
@@mutilator97 A *rubber band.* The scary thing is, I believe it.
It makes me so happy that Jeep still offers new Jeeps from the factory with a right hand drive option, i love driving through the middle of nowhere and seeing a brand new right hand drive Jeep with a USPS logo on the side delivering mail lol
Cackling still cause fat electrician called the b2 spirit the b21 stealth bomber. But I won't slam to hard...this was an energetic and hilarious vid so yeah. The planes don't need to matter too much. Just the fact Northrup made a mail truck..and yeah I sad now it's not infact called the mailcat. Kind of want a petition to be started to rename the llv to mailcat. They scoot, I drove one myself for 4years
About that beer I owed ya
Option 3 is is actually putting tax payer funding to work to support the USPS and treating their fees as additional funding.
Fun fact: We rural carriers HAVE to have our own vehicles because LLVs are only provided to city carriers. (With the exception of a handful of rural routes that get Metris vans for one reason or another)
we had a mail man turn stalker in my neighborhood. and when i contacted the local mail service about it, they sent their agents to my house because they thought i was threatening that mail man. i had to explain to them, and show them camera evidence of this individual, and explain that i was retired military with multiple degrees and my service to my community didnt end when i took the uniform off. they didnt like that, but since i was right, they had to leave. he was removed from our route, but i hope his new route isnt having the same issues.
What he does not mention is that we do use another vehicle alongside the LLV, the ford FFV but at a glance they look very similar.
You dare question the electrician, you heretic!
well
The new postal vehicle is the Mercedes Sprinter, just fyi.
At least that is what they are attempting.
Rest in peace #3 best to ever do it
ROFL they still use a right side drive Jeep Cherokee where my uncle lives and I will be that thing has a million miles on it.
Algorithm food 👍
Yee
Are you going to react to more gears of war stuff? I noticed that you watched two videos on the lore already, but I can't find any more
I had no idea this government sucked so bad! I should move to a better country.
This is why I refuse to use USPS.
Comment tribute
First one!
Just a note. When people in the UK say their rail system is privatized. It's not to different from this. The government decides basically everything. The company basically just leases the rail line.
As a native Briton, the USPS is a near perfect mirror of "PrIvAtIsEd" rail networks.
The only difference being that the USPS would need to force delivery companies to get maintenance exclusively from them to be a perfect mirror image.
