I agree with you on that but what’s interesting to me is that there’s a secret that only my family knows and no one else knows about and the secret revolves around the actress who plays mrs Hathaway and the secret is that apparently she was going to live in my grandpa Jacob weikerts house but something happened.
wait for the series to get cancelled, based on the "woke society" of not able to have a laugh without approval of the left, and some idiots feelings are hurt because the idiot can identify with the origins of the Hillbillies
The Beverly Hillbillies lasted on TV from Sept. 1962 to May 1971. 51 yrs later in 2022 of the shows main three actors and three actresses only one is still living. That is Max Baer, Jr. who played Jethro Bodine. The other five have all since passed away. Irene Ryan who played Daisy "Granny" Moses died in 1973. Raymond Bailey who played Milburn Drysdale died in 1980. Nancy Kulp who played Jane Hathaway died in 1991. Buddy Ebsen who played J. D. " Jed" Clampett died in 2003 and Donna Douglas who played Elly May Clampett died in 2015. RIP to them and continued good life to Max Baer, Jr. What a great show it was and still is in re-runs.
I used to watch this show all the time as a kid. I had the first 2 seasons on DVD but I see now that they took out a lot of the episodes. I haven't seen most of these! It's great.
I love Beverly Hills show I watch this all the time and I'm glad that I had take all the episodes of The Beverly Hillbillies and I love to spend play in that part of the Beverly hill this is a great collection in memory of this show I seen the movie 2 it was awesome of my remember

Along with Irene ryan granny and her moonshine 😅 and pretty girl Ellie mae the sweetest country girl ever Donna douglas💗and jethro so tall and handsome and Max baer jr

Really appriciate you adding this great series to TH-cam but I'm sorry I cannot enjoy viewing it with a big watermark through it so will watch it somewhere else.
Ellie May was 23 years his junior. Sonny Drysdale, I surley would have thought the producers could have found a more dashing counter part to Ellie May. Lucky you Mr. Nye
Love this show everytime I get to watch this series. Just like the spot where granny is washing clothes, my mom would always say when we were kids; soap is cheap and water is free ain't no sence being dirty; 🤣🤣
I just had my 1st Grandson & decided to be called Granny because I love her so much in this show. I sure hope I can incorperate some of her manurisims into my boys life. Lol
The man who played Sonny Drysdale was 49 when he played this role and only 9 years younger than Raymond Bailey who played Milburn Drysdale, I could never understand why they would cast someone so much older to play the part of Sonny.
mjc 427 : Perhaps because of the fact that Sonny Drysdale was the stepson and NOT the son of Milburn Drysdale. Milburn Drysdale must have officially adopted Sonny and then gave him his family last name after Milburn married Sonny's mom Maragaret.
The iconic bluegrass theme song from Lester Flatt and Earle Scruggs came later. For the first so many episodes, it was a different, more generic theme song.
and there was things i found out that i didn't know before i used to watch as a kid after school. never knew jethro had a sister named jethrene let alone he played her. I wonder he did the voice or that was someone else
Certain early episodes have fallen into public domain but the theme song is a registered copyright of Flatt and Scruggs. So while it is free to screen these episodes, it can’t be done with the classic theme song without paying music royalties. On various versions of the public domain episodes, generic “hillbilly” music has been substituted to avoid this issue.
@@robertsmith9076 For the most part, you only encounter the public domain episodes online and, back in the day, on public access/community TV and cheap DVDs. If you’re willing to pay or only watch via higher-end streaming, you’re going to get all the “Texas tea” y’all could want!
To uphold Jefferson Davis is upholding the devil, and you can't serve two masters. America is in a decline, catastrophe after catastrophe the nation that enslaved the people of God for 400 years, the killers of Adam and his people.

Jed never gave cousin Pearl anything for using her truck to drive to California, the advice to live in Beverly Hills and all the help that Jethro provided.
Not to mention the fact that she was looking after the old homestead they left back in the hills. Yes, now that you mention it, in all the times that I’ve ever watched this show back when growing up, and now rediscovering it’s old charm, Jed Clampett owes cousin Pearl quite a bit. You would think 🤔 with all the importance of “kin” he could certainly slip her a million or at least a half mill. What the heck? Jed’s not a tightwad.
Love Jeds speech to his daughter at the beginning. "You're a girl, just like ol' Duke there is a dog, you can't change that" Simple, straight forward, the truth. The show would be banned today just because of that one little part on one show that 3% wouldn't like, lol.
My mother was called a 'sissy', for not climbing trees like the other girls. In Belgium, girls were dressed in blue and pink was for boys. Women in northern Europe often had lower voices that in other countries where the women were expected to have a higher voice than men. In our French class, this was pointed out, as we could not tell if the recorded French-speaking voices were male or female.
Mrs Drysdale is a horrible person why is he so scared she would leave him. I would be singing happy days are here again if she left. That is a blast seeing them rottery phones. I remember using one when I was 11 at school to call my mom. I remember what I thinking the way I was feeling. I'm the same person the only difference is I grew old and both my parents are dead. Your soul never grows old just everyone you love dies then eventually you.
I always loved some of the silliness in the old comedy shows. Some of it was just too stupid, intended for an audience like the Clampett's. But shows like this, where two cultures clash, were funny as hell!
Most likely to avoid getting the video shutdown for copyright infringement they had to just dub some country sounding music to avoid algorithms... Thats all I can figure
This is fun to watch other that the gigantic, annoying logo in the bottom right corner which is very distracting. Why is it there, unless you own the copyright to this show?
