My dorm is decorated with random pen marks form me been bored and throwing pens at the wall.
I do the same thing in my desk!! So many doodles and my name is written everywhere!!

I believe you won't even need the phone because I didn't, there were thousand of activities, games,sports,clubs,and ✨BOOKS✨ so yeah I didn't needed phone much but u r allowed

But sometimes if we want to have sleepovers or we decide to study all night we can tell to our teacher
They are very understanding and we've done this

GUYS I CANNOT EMPHASISE HOW MUCH U NEED MATRESS TOPPERS!! If ur transferring to boarding school u need one of these because garuntee school bed will have horrible mattresses!

@@kerendejesus7137 I'm very sorry but I don't think I can help you. As I said before, I'm just transferring to boarding school in September, so it's all very new to me. I also believe that the things you mentioned in your commend depend on your school.

I want to go to British boarding school for 6th form (I’m in S1 (year 8) in Hong Kong right now) but I’m not sure about which boarding schools I have a chance at. I was thinking of Brighton College but then it seems too good for me to get in. Any suggestions?

At my school, u shared with up to 6 people in a dorm till yr 8 where you share with 2 to 4 people, then when you go to senior, in year 9 you share with up to 6 again, 2 in year 10 with two days, in year 11 you are on your own with one day because of exams then in Lower 6. Form you share with 1 other border and a few daily’s then in upper 6 form you get to choose

@@graciemetzger Not sure where you're getting that from, but I beg to differ: tuition for boarding schools is definitely up there, at least for the vast majority of them. A lot of them are pretty good about financial aid and scholarship programs, though. Tuition for my high school (which was 100% boarding) was around $35k a year back when I was there, 15-18 years ago. Since then it has almost doubled, up to $65k a year, which is higher than a lot of private universities (Duke University, the bane of my existence, is currently around $58k)
@@graciemetzger in what world is $50k a year in tuition not "that much" money, especially for a high school, then? If you're serious about currently being in a boarding school, then just take it from me: $50k is a fuck-ton of money. Four years of 50k is even more, rivaling things like medical school or law school, which are notorious for often bankrupting people and taking years or even decades to pay off, if using student loans.
I don't want to sound patronizing, but you, me, this youtuber, etc., are incredibly fortunate to have grown up in a family that can afford that, and we owe our parents a large debt of gratitude, because it's not cheap. I've been out for 15 years and I'm still incredibly grateful - will be for the rest of my life. In contrast, after boarding school, I went to UNC-chapel hill, where the tuition was $2700 a semester then, though even that has gone up to 8000ish.
I'm not intending to sound harsh; I'm just a little surprised to hear someone say that boarding school is anywhere near inexpensive
@@graciemetzger On one hand I wish that I was as fortunate as you but on the other hand I am glad I’m not, clearly you do not understand the value of money. My parents combined income is nowhere near 50k and we are happy and can still afford nice things.

If you are boarding, you don't need to be close to home, and it can be helpful to be further away when settling in. There are loads of great boarding schools across the UK, so you just need to know what you want to get out of a boarding school and go from there to find the best school for you.
are you allowed to wear Brandy Melville Rosa sweatpants? I know lots of bonding schools only allow tailored pants. is that allowed to be worn during the school day

You should. Also, bring mackbook air 13 inches this will be a good size and most people will have MacBooks which will be more useful💕

Can you wear doc martens 1460 if your school has uniform? Or are you only allowed to wear those low doc martens?
I think those are fine
So at my school you're not allowed to wear boots or shoes that are boot-like, so you wouldn't be able to wear the doc martens 1460, however you can bring them and wear them outside of school or when you're going out. The low doc martens are fine.
