There are all kinds of styles but it seems like Arin has a lot of extra in his set up for his groundstrokes. I wonder as he gets older and the pace picks up if that becomes problematic. It's similar to players that spin their rackets in between shots. Every bit of efficiency matters as you move up.
No disrespect to these kids, because if youre playing finals of Kalamazoo you're doing something right. BUT..... I was watching some old videos of Jim Courier, Michael Chang, Sampras & Agassi around this same age playing Kalamazoo, and it's not even close. Yesterday's players were much better in every way. More fluid, more power, better movers, better footwork, more mentally tough, and much more independent. They were already men at 16, with independent thinking skills. Todays players are constantly looking for coach & parent, and their movement, footwork & strokes are pretty average compared to Fed, Dkoker, Rafa, Courier, Chang, Agassi, Sampras at the same age.
Thats an interesting but incredibly effective backhand
All good players from JMG academy have a similar looking backhand. edit: rather i should say players that've grown up playing at JMG
Thank you for posting! Quality video trimmed down, what else could one ask for.

Why do you post the score at the beginning of the match? Ruins the video.

Terrible backhand boy in the green

He’s almost certainly better than you
Wtf is that backhand?😂 Really nice strokes but it seems really weird
