It's very common for teachers to be this way, many of my own teachers like this, and my mom, also a teacher, is like this. Just imagine how great I turned out 🙃
Most of these people who get into these jobs really are only there to play frat party with the staff, when my mom would tell me about her days at school it was always about the principal and the staff sharing drinks or smoking pot never about the lessons she gave or how good she did, it really is just people stuck in the "glory days" of school and can't ever move on and so they fall into this power dynamic drawn by ego
@@shakeamasmith3406 agreed, thankfully however witnessing it first hand I've learned not to become her and I'm now pursuing a neuroscience degree, something she saw as over my head but has always been a fascination of mine
