I actually like JA. To see a person go through what he has and the change in him for the better. Deserves a lot of praise for his journey.

I came here because I’m currently reading Jonathan’s book “Pride and Perjury”
What an amazing man. I didn’t expect to find such dignity and humanity.

I read it too. Make sure to read his follow up autobiography, Porridge and Passion

God bless you for your witness, Mr. Aitken. I envy you (in a nice way, you know!) because you had the honor of meeting President Richard Nixon, another man worthy of respect. You are finishing well!

It's a shame this has such poor audio.

I sat across from JA on a train from Salisbury. He was spread across all 4 seats of the busy First Class carriage when I arrived & begrudgingly moved a few items to enable me to perch on the side of a seat. Despite my travelling on business dressed suited and booted, his look of disdain for me and other passengers was palpable. So terribly arrogant. Really horrid. He exuded a bad energy irrespective of his alleged Damascene conversion in jail.

Those born into such lives of privilege are often thus. Personally, I should have told him to fuck off.

He admits in this talk that he's arrogant - just see it as his weakness

From extremely pompous and arrogant to humble. Thank you Her Majesty's Court Service.
