Hi, thank you for your helpful videos. Our class is working on a glass mosaic (base is a Dollar Tree cookie sheet - 9x13) as a tray for a Menorah. What do you recommend for grout?
Great video and appreciate the details you've added to make it seem easy. I have a question about sealants. Even though you advise against them, I have a premade glass tile table that I want to protect from the elements. It's a table I bought from Home Depot and very pretty but it's not sealed and want to preserve it for as long as possible. For a premade table do you still advise against a sealant or it's a good idea given that it's store bought? Thank you for showing us ideas on how to do this ourselves. A true labor of love..
If you feel the need you can purchase sealant at Home Depot (Tile aisle). The CAUTION, it goes in the grout lines, you need to promptly wipe if off the tiles or they will be dull. Make sure the table top is built of a suitable, weather friendly substrate (often they are not!) - no wood! And if yo really like it cover for the winter months if you are in a freeze/thaw zone.
Your videos are so detailed, so inspiring, making it look so easy. I have a huge bag of white grout, is it possible to complete the project and paint the grout after it’s set ?
Don't feel bad white grout is often a go to for beginners including myself and is rarely a good choice. Yes you can paint the grout. Use only acrylic paint. Some people use a product called Rub and Buff. Instead of going forward on future projects with your bag of white grout and painting I recommend choosing the appropriate color for your project. Yous can learn more here: th-cam.com/video/JfOq4LjRzrY/w-d-xo.html Painted grout tends to look unnatural. Hope this helps!
This was exactly what I needed! As I’m about to mosaic a table top and wondered if I should bother with sealing! Thank you so much - love your videos!
Perfect timing for both of us!
Great great great video. Thank you!
Happy tp be of help!

Can you share a link where to purchase the grout? Thanks!
Many options: ALWAYS sanded, never pre-mixed! This is just one suggestion: amzn.to/3vrApZ2
