Building sequences from scratch with Metron is FAST

In this video, I wanted to show you a typical workflow I've been using lately with my new sequencer to build loops for live performances. It’s incredibly easy to start from scratch and create a complete and complex loop thanks to the various interaction modes this fantastic module offers. For example, you can see how I create small patterns that repeat every 6 steps, and then duplicate this microstructure to fill up eight bars, adding variations at the end. This workflow is amazingly fast for generating complex and engaging sequences.
Another incredibly useful feature for live performances is the mute groups, which allow you to activate a specific sequence of channels and deactivate others with a single button. These groups are user-definable, making it extremely convenient to create energy buildups or reductions as your set evolves.

I'm rewatching this video and I noticed that there is noticeably less sub bass than I heard when I recorded it. I should have fixed that in future videos, sorry!

Man, sure beats (pun intended) old school xox programming...in spite of being xox. Variable length per track, random, variations, integrated trigger mutes, voltera record, ridiculous track length. Are you still using wmd crater as the kick drum?

Never had crater actually. I got kraken and fracture. Using ultra kick by ssf now and BIA in the past. Cheers
