FitAnge, Thank you so much for watching and I hope you'll make this cake! I thought you might call it self raising since you called the cornmeal mix "self raising" (you don't have it there in Australia)...thanks again!
Hey FitAnge, the cake is delicious but it sticks. If you're not too far along, line your cake pan first (Phyllis stokes shows how to line a pan)...good luck!!
Hello, love the videos. Are all your baked goods recipes using White Lilly? I noted you said that with the 100 year old piecrust recipe. Just wondering if when you say 1 1/2 cup AP flour, do you use the White Lilly as this would affect our baked goods up in the “north” ☹️. Thank you!
Hi, White Lilly is my flour of choice because it's a soft winter wheat flour and produces a tender outcome. If your in the north use King Arthur which is also a soft winter wheat flour. It's just a little more expensive. TFW God Bless!
What a fantastic cake. Wow I love this. I have to make it. By the way...here in Australia we all it self raising flour lol.

Just wanted to let you know I'm making this cake if yours right now! Wish me luck lol
