The Chinese military has really come a long way very fast over the last decade. I'm glad I'm around to see all of these amazing achievements. And im thankful for your coverage.
Best defense is a strong offense. ❤
Hahaha 🤣 Obama's "Pivot to the East" got an answer that they didn't anticipated. 🤦
I think it is a good investment. The United States is becoming increasingly unstable and dangerous to the rest of the world. They elected a clown who states he is going to take Greenland from Denmark, seize the Panama Canal and absorb Canada into the United States.
I think it is time the whole world unites to “contain” the United States. No country should have 800 foreign military bases that threaten the national security of the entire planet.
Is this achievement? They built obsolete (already 40 years ago) class of ship which represent the most easiest target. Even not well developed countries already have missiles which with easy can destroy such ship with a lot of people inside.
@, you been under a rock most of your adult life?? Obsolete enoughg to keep the foolish amerikkka far away. 😂🤣
glad the catapult launch test went smoothly as there is no report of accident, otherwise western media already went hoohah about it
Considering that this is the first time launch at sea, problems occurring is to be expected. An aircraft carrier is a dangerous place to work on. But yea, western media and western chauvinists will never let it go if an accident were to happen.
And Indian media 😂
Meanwhile on Ford Class...
It must have gone too smoothly for the likes of the western media 😅
Looks like even the cracks on the decks had been fixed without a noise 😂
went hoohah
Love the fact that the PLAN doesn't even make any noise about this. It just focuses on the task of testing the carrier.
TOFO DREGG!!!
they released too much info on new assets already.... there was no space left for this - lol
@EugeneMaturkanicjr 😂
there is no surprise, because China built catapults launch on the land, they should test multiple times before they start to build Fujian craft carriers. the second when they start to use catapults launch on 076 which means they already completed the catapults launch test on Fujian craft carrier. otherwise they won't use catapults on 076
Very factual and matter-of-fact. Well done!
New subscriber here.. it's really interesting to hear about pla navy
You know, due to the rigor of the Chinese, they have to be foolproof before releasing the official ejection video! This is in stark contrast to the bombastic talk of India!!!
老兄你太懂了
this is really incredible . i'am very interesting to see a video of the aircraft's being launch .
I'm very interested in seeing the 20th launch in a row. There's a lot more to go wrong with an electromagnetic catapult than steam. Those capacitors need to perform perfectly every time
Thanks!
Many thanks friend!
Soon CCTV military channel and Global Times should release clips and pics of the catapult launch.
Highly, highly anticipated. Actually can’t wait.
Agreed. Lets see the catapults in action! why keep it under wraps?
What’s so special about something that’s been done for decades?
@@jonathangalante2829 Because the 🇺🇸 can't get a EMALS to work properly after all this time.
@@jonathangalante2829 done for decades??? The Ford still hasn't fully gotten its EMALS working.

Been waiting for this one! Love to see it
China speed as usual
😂 the US has been doing this for 100 years 😅
China junk
We wont see much catapult launches untill the Manufscturer handed the Fujian to PLA Navy officially. Now is only Testing & Comissioning to ensure all systemscare working before handing over to the PLA Navy.
Makes sense. Very impressive timescale either way. The PLAN is doing crazy numbers in terms of production, training and commissioning new advanced and powerful modern warships.
Further to add they cannot overuse the catapult and wear out the landing strip. How to handover New Ship with a Soiled and Worn out Deck..
We can see catapult launches when PLA acceot the Fujian from manufacturer and start operating it.
The amount of progress China has made with their carriers in such a short period of time is pretty impressive. Even that new Amphib they just launched has an EMALS catapult as well
Longer than when this class of ships arrived in 20 century.
And pointless, because most developed countries rejected from this class of ships also already in 20 century - because any modern missile (modern for 1970s, nowadays even outdated missile) with easy destroy it. And together with it thousand people inside.
I have no words to describe how strange to see arrival of this ships from China, after 40 years how this class was described as outdated. What next, will we see old good battleships? :o
@@juliap.5375 Lmao you're in every comment shitting on these achievements? Cry harder.

A J-35 fighter is clearly visible in the photo of the carrier deck. The fact that the PLA-N have the confidence to launch such a newly developed aircraft during the Fujian catapult trials, is shocking!!
Nowadays China is growing more stronger
That makes America peace love.

@@EugeneMaturkanicjr What's a TOFO? I would have thought it's a typo, but since you posted it 3 times, maybe not.
k@Ben734 "tofo degg" in China means shoddy workmanship on things built China. All their buildings are known as such. Their ships are the same. Meaning total JUNK. thank for the reply
My chopsticks broke eating rice.
Damn bruh, that is some great news to hear!!!
China just needs to make one carrier work perfectly. They can then build 10 very fast.
For what? Countries rejected from carriers back in 20 century, because already in 1970s arrived missiles which with easy destroy any carrier. Aircraft carriers is outdated ships exactly like battleships.
It still takes experience to operate and fight one effectively. There's no substitute for it.
Building them is one thing knowing how to use them efficiently orchestrating them with multiple nations is awole different matter. The united state has a a century of perfecting this type of technology and warfare. That my friends is something that china has no experience in and that is why there not even on the same level by a very very big margin. Tons of AESA radars on this ship
it has rumors Fijian carrier will be on service in PlaN in April , it is not so far away from now.. so just wait 😅
No dirt on the jet-blast deflector simply means that the plane launched was a turbo-prop plane one of those from the KJ series. These are usually launched from the port (left) side catapult, exactly where the plane was pictured flying off.
Yes , the Napoleon's sleeping Giant has really already awoken , no doubt about it .
First comment here. Just wanna say thanks for the video
I don't think they have used the launch system yet. Touch and goes and no exhaust signs on the deflector. Besides why would they not show such a success.
Also, are there any videos of China doing night launch and landing. I have not found any.
Eventually , landing will be A.I assisted which allows jets to land in high seas and midnight too under total darkness
AI (just basic automatization, there are no any needs in AI because everything is controlled by few math formulas) was used in aircraft carriers always, even in 20 century.
If AI assisted than pilots don't need to have excellent flying skills, strong heart and top mental strength. Blindfolded also can land safely
They already land in zero visibility situations and at night. That’s a Case III Recovery. The aircraft’s autopilot and ACLS system will already put it on the deck in that case.
Very nice work
India is planning a flying aircraft carrier soon.
hahahahah
@zhaomax5857
I am pretty a professional committees has been appointed for a decade long debate on when will be the first flying date. The Design shall come later after another committee is set, ie. after the first committees had finished their talk first. Dun be surprise if there is already a celebration of triumph before the design is finalized or made.
With Saudi Magic Carpet Technology?
and of course the Western Media will mock this
Except US, whole West rejected from this class of ships after 1970s when Soviets invented missiles which attack carriers in swarms. Carriers became outdated class of weapon like battleships, each one is easy target. Nowadays with hypersonic missiles and torpedoes with no limits by range they even more pointless.
Great. any improvement by any non anglo saxon nations to deter US and West is a boon to mankind and it makes me a supporter of Global South very happy

@@MarkLandrebe-ef5ydin terms of production and availability of deployable forces I’d say five years is close to accurate that being said it’s pretty clear US has the technological advantage but with chinas production capabilities that advantage might become a hindrance for the Americans. that was an early warning plane , no marking left on the deflector
I will believe there was a launch, when I see a 1080p video showing the Fujian actually launching an aircraft.
We'll wait and see.
You're just clawing at straws if you're hoping that they cannot build a working catapult. It's not exactly rocket science. To quote Elon, _it's not that complicated. I swear._ They've been building electric locomotives. They built their own maglevs. It's silly to think they can't build an electromagnetic catapult. Why did the Ford have so much trouble with its EMALS? I think it is just plain incompetence. The American ship building industry has deteriorated to such an awful state, they can't integrate the EMALS which was previously tested and proved to work separately. After installation onto the ship, it quit working reliably for some reason.
Will you believe little-India is a superpower?
It is claiming that since 2020😂
No cat launches. It was just touch and go landings.
Canard front wing configuration goes hard. China's the big dawg of Asia.

Only a possible minor correction, the delay of Gerald Ford against Fujian in launching planes MAY occurred not by a not mature of the launch system but by the huge PLANE ELEVATOR problems of the Gerald Ford class carriers...
Good observations of the convoy marks!!!

hello there, can you make a video about the type of fpv drone in the chinese military service? i have seen video of chinese soldier training with the "civilian" model but i rarely see footage of armed fpv drone with warhead in use.
If History has taught us anything is that there is no such thing as an unsinkable ship.
Step by step, the progress will accumulate and become a leap, and this is what chinese military, especially PLAN and PLAAF, has done for the past decades. Each step, although not significant, is a steady step towards their goals.
Still a long way to go before combat ready but a major step forward
I see that China has been resilient and trying, the Chinese army will be powerful, the Fujian aircraft carrier is a proof, I thank the person who made this video for providing useful information, 😉😉😉😉
American military already launched aircraft using catapults!
Why do they need mock-up aircraft over there than real ones?
Experiments and pilot training, shorten the warship to fully operational status. Training pilot while building the ship. Use tax money wisely usually the Chinese will not install non proven equipment and devices on their warship before certain important criteria met. The EMALS was under going intensive trials before selected.
They launch the k600 early warning bird.
Chinese military number one power of world
No. They have no enough nukes for this. Also Russia only building for the, early warning system about missiles attack, it means now any country, even such backward as England, can destroy them in surprise attack.
😂😂 the Chinese navy can't sail past 1000 Miles
Theyre not even blue water
Number one and how great is that for ? Can't trust them never in 1000 years the world does not like how they are ....
Nice review but I think your conclusions are premature. I see no clear evidence of arrested landings but merely touch n' go stuff. The blast deflector discoloration is not convincing either. The blast effects were clearly on the left quarter panel of the port-side forward catapult deflector and not an evenly distributed discoloration along the entire deflector as it should be. Moreover, I don't believe the Fujian will ever generate enough electrical power to utilize all three catapults at even a modest cyclic rate. It's design appears to be highly flawed.
Had it been a frigate I would have been impressed. It´s a carrier.. That´s what it´s supposed to be able to do.
I didn’t see a catapult launch.
If Liaoning and Shandong could be updated with angled flight deck and EMAL catapults .....
It will be better to keep them as training vessels to prepare future captains and crews for new carriers.
though everyone know this is gonna happen someday, the day comes faster than every expection
it will be about only half a month until lunar new year, and the long vacation, so i do think the whole test plan are very tight
before first launch, the overall cruising ability should be tested before hand
i expect this ship fully functional, not enter service, fully function means 100% ready to fight, before year 2027, and be the fastest modern carrier ever
Let’s hope US and China will not be slugging it out in the pacific. In real battle, single ship’s capability most likely will not impact the outcome. Weather, supplies, fleet size, strategies, and the X factors will determine the outcome. Battle of Midway, X factor was on USN side. Or in laments term, Luck! General Ludwig Beck said, “this is military operation. Nothing ever goes as planned”.
Why youtube and the western journalism so keen to broadcast what China did? Why none was mentioned on US equipment until they have to self advertise?
The US can't wait to advertise everything all the time, even if it does not even exist jet.
Most people are happy not to hear anything from the USA.

"Skidmarks", giggled each time it was said.
I had to google what was so funny about “skid marks.” The Chinese (and Asians in general) will not understand why you find it so funny.
“Skidmarks” are mainly a problem in Western nations where people use dry paper to smear their own feces between their buttocks to “clean” themselves. 🧻 💩
In most of Asia (with the exception of India), water and soap is generally used in the cleansing process, and thus no significant levels of feces remain to create the “skid marks.” 💦 🧼 💩
As for India… no comment. India is the most advanced country in the world. The number one super power. They invented super advanced 6th generation stealth toilets. So stealthy that they cannot be found anywhere!
“Skid marks” is a Western problem, and most Asians will not understand why you find the word funny. 😂 🧻 💩
Asians use water and soap like civilized people. 🧼 💦 💩
Here in Germany, we are catching on and slowly becoming civilized. My parents finally installed a bidet and liquid soap dispenser. Progress. 🤷♀️
Lets see if it can sustain 50-70 traps daily in a war time scenario. Im betting no.
Um, am I the only one who noticed that of the two jets on deck one of them is a J-35?! Could it be that not only has the Fujian successfully launched aircraft but it has, in fact, launched a J-35? That would be significant too, I'd have thought 😅 Do we know if the J-35 has ever taken off from any of the other Chinese carriers?

No, you are not taking into consideration static catapult tests...or the failure of that one catapult, that lead to the others not being tested. There is no conclusive evidence that a launch and recovery has taken place.
Semper Fi
Very good and objective analysis. Do you get the clips used in your video from Chinese social media?
Given the American experience . Launching with EMALs is not a problem. It is the reliability and maintenance issues that are the problem.
The Chinese believe their EMALS will outperform in term of reliability and maintenance. The carrier construction delay mainly was due to testing the reliability before the installation. Land mock up testing years to check the reliability to avoid similar issues. Let's see how it perform after service.
not impressed by a navy with NO wartime experience .
What is overlooked is how long takes between shots. Also these aircraft are of the same type used on the Jump Jet platforms, they require much less energy to launch these aircraft. And as for the landing we shall see, just because you can launch and recover one aircraft this really isn't all that impressive.
If they can land and recover planes on the much smaller 001 and 002, why would they have trouble landing on the bigger 003? Launch cadence might be slower than the Ford, due to power generation. But the problem is overblown. 003 will still be better than 001 and 002. And QE2 and POW, simply because it HAS a catapult at all. And besides, there are fewer total planes on board the 003 than on the Ford. And they have only 3 catapults instead of 4. A slightly slower rate doesn't make the ship useless.
It isn't a match for the Ford or Nimitz carriers, but this is only their 3rd carrier. The fact that each ship class has only one ship tells us that they're still in the R&D phase. When they start rolling off the assembly line in large numbers, then we can compare the latest Chinese carrier against the latest American one. Right now, these are just prototypes.
China always does incremental...004 will still be conventional 005 will be nuclear
And both ships are already in production
@@danielch6662 Sorry if you have a very slow recharge time on the cats, it will be an kiss of death in a conflict situation. Remember the area where they are to be employed is rather restrictive to operate and you MUST head into the wind to launch and recover. So a recovery time of around a minute per cat shot you suck up a bunch of room. Another thing we have as of yet to see is multiple cat shots, this could mean that they use 1 charge system for all 3 cats, so you are still at that 1 shot a minute. Then if there are 3 charge banks, one for each cat, you are going to have a tremendous power draw. This power draw will have to come from somewhere. There are still a lot of questions that are not yet answered. Then take into account China has demonstrated again and again their mobile Nuclear Power system are not all that reliable.
Oh wow they launched an aircraft, what a thing, amazing…..right? Like women giving birth to human babies, what an amazing thing! Never would have thought it….wow!
