Morning Kim & Levi! Lord you are always working. I have plans to repaint my kitchen walls and cabinets this spring and that wears me out with the thought of it lol. After working all day and grandson on every other weekend and help my 93yr old dad and all his properties then I have to pre plan what I can do on what days. My son is down with his back blown so now I have to help him out too after work. Wish I knew how to do all you do. I want to add a piece of beadboard on a bathroom wall so hopefully I can do that by myself. I’m not much on power tools lol. Have a good day and soak up the sunshine. I passed a farm yesterday and horses were frolicking in the snow and one was laid out in his blanket soaking up sunshine. It was beautiful with the ice and snow on the trees…my grandson said it was “sparkly”. It was gorgeous. Wish I’d taken a pic … Kentucky in the winter. What’s gorgeous with the fall leaves is even more beautiful with ice & snow
You usually only get a short period of really cold weather, so a door there is probably not needed. If a real bad cold snap you could even just put up a tarp for those days. I like the light

To add… the weather here right now is the most mild in temperatures and humidity, which I am so thankful, between the months of mid October through mid March. 😁

She does just fine if it's not raining or pushing a walker. I always get off the bus and stand behind her when she's getting on and I stand at the bottom of the steps when she's getting off. Just to assist

The Roux is the secret! Copper penny color is the best…no darker no lighter. Believe me I have had both and you can ruin and expensive Gumbo if it’s not the right color! (And it does take time to do it right)

Every time you and pop jerry rig electrical i cringe lol. My brother did it a few times at his and my moms house and every time it snap, crackled and popped and i would worry it would start a fire. He would always say its fine its how he would test hvac equipment. Now before y'all say thats not how you do it. My brother has/had an addiction. Dont know anymore. So yeah lol i cringe every time 😅

You need to have a door because you have your feed in that section of the barn. I enjoy watching you do projects.
But nothing can get to it from the front side.
@ I’m think raccoons, possums, mice, rats, snakes etc. these critters can mess up a feed room.
