ఘంటసాల గారి జననం 1922 మరణించినది 1974. అంటే జీవించినది 52 సంవత్సరాలు మాత్రమే. కానీ ఆయన మిగిల్చివెళ్లిన గాత్రానికి మరణం లేని వరం ప్రసాధించినాడు దేవదేవుడు. భగవత్గీత లోని శ్లోకాలు చివరిగా పాడినది. ఆ శ్రీకృష భగవానుడే పాడించి తనలోకి ఐక్యం చేసుకున్నాడు. అందుకే ఆయన ఎప్పుడూ చిరంజీవులు తెలుగువారి మదిలో.
డబ్బుంటే పేరు గుర్తుకు వచ్చేదినట ప్రపూర్ణ కళా ప్రపూర్ణ ఆంధ్ర ఎంజీఆర్ రణం భూపతి అనగనగా ఒక రాకుమారుడు కళామతల్లి నుదుటి తిలకం కాంతారావు గారు పేరు చెప్పలేదు ఎందుకు కాంతారావు గారికి ఎన్నో పాటలు పాడారు
ఘంటసాల గారు మరణించి 50 ఏండ్లు గడచినవి. అయినా ఆడియో రికార్డు ఉన్నంతవరకు ఆయన చిరంజీవులు. ఆయన మృతదేహం మాత్రమే వెళ్ళిపోయినది. తెలుగు బాష ఉన్నంతవరకు ఆయనకు గాత్రానికి మరణం లేదు.
