It is a very interesting concept, and looks like it could work. However, for the price of a 4 bedroom home, I need to see it in action, extensively operating without flaws.
1. A different type of license would be needed through strict training.
2. It must have a safe battery.
3. It must be packed with fail safes.
4. It cannot be allowed to fly at night. (Drunk drivers, too dark to see where you're landing, etc).
I'm sure there are a lot more concerns I haven't covered, but we have to put the value of human life at the very top of everything.
Why are they not showing the actual vehicle flying.

People can't drive their normal car with out killing themselves or other you are going to trust them with flying cars now?! No road as flying road signs nor markings on the roads . Wouldn't people need a pilot license for this? And what about landing. Would you land in a traffic?... Would need landing roadway just to land ...since we are not talking Anti-gravity technology here . Stop fake technology hype.

Honestly it doesn’t look aerodynamic when it flies, also the fact that the propeller turns doesn’t mean it could act as a wing. I stay with the safe idea of a giant drone.

Considering how the passenger is in some type of bubble makes me think you are much more safe from rear end or front crashes. The should add a parachute feature and I already know they're going to add version with more storage

We aren't far from the 'Jetsons', having a robot doing the cooking and cleaning, and going to work in an autonomous flying car, there are some great fly-car designs coming and Optimus already looks amazing. I can see how you could take-off and fly the Alef, but it didn't show how it would drive on the roads.

Is this real? Why are there no real videos of this car actually flying, only animations of it flying??? And in the animations, there doesn't appear to be any batteries? Something like this, I would expect this thing to have a quite large bank of batteries if it expects to be able to fly for more than 15 minutes... How is this thing powered?
Regardless there are mid air collisions with a relitive small number of air born objects in our airspace,hence if you increase the amount of air born objects you will have more collisions
Also… where would be the road engine located? Because a road has more friction than the air and moving at a high speed requires power…

I see no batteries, and no motors for when it is on the ground being a car. I know its a "concept" but where's the beef?
This is a cool concept, but it is still flying like an Airplane, these cars are supposed to manipulate Gravity and make it less flying as opposed to being much safer to fly than an airplane, but yes I know anti grav. Technology does not exist past what the government may know, this is just a fancy airplane with a cool design and 15 minute run time, so far only the Blackfly is real enough to fly....
Yeah, this thing isn't going to be on the market anytime soon, despite what the voice-over guy says. There are at least 10 maybe 20 more years of R&D before this thing hits the market.
My bet is on this never happening.
I hate to point out the obvious but it is pointless to make a car that flies. I bet that everyone that gets one will only drive it into the garage and then once in the driveway will fly. It will never see a road.
My bullshit alarm has been pegged since 2016 and just now the needle broke off. FAA hasn't approved anything.
How is this believable for practical use? Roadways are highly controlled with lanes and traffic lights, and still driving is extremely dangerous in a culture that's accustomed to car accidents. I'm supposed to believe that it'll be fine for drivers to now fly all over the place and crash like crazy? You want flying cars taking shortcuts over your house and drunk drivers smashing into buildings, tree tops, or each other? This is nuts. They got FAA approval to test fly by professionals in a few locations, that's nothing close to general public flying cars. Remember when Amazon started testing drones? Don't hear about that anymore.

Better range and ,if that battery bursts into flames while you're airborne you'll have a zero percent survival rate even with a parachute.. also, a fender bender would total out a little light vehicle such as this. Wouldn't count on being able to actually use one for travel anytime soon.. It is cool though..
