The Wormhole is Minecraft's Deadliest Exploit, created by Lifesteal content creator Spoke. It should allow anyone to get bedrock, end portal frames, barriers, and even command blocks. But would it really work? Probably not.

Very good video! I see you did your research very thoroughly, if you even know when exactly it got patched and how the teleport works.
I'd like to add some things for context and such:
- 1:33 I agree that it's very unlikely that getting items with the OP-Sign on servers is super unlikely. It could be that Parrot was a bit less careful because of how he was caught off-guard with this whole glitch, or maybe he thought that it would make for interesting content regardless what happened. Whatever's the case, I can confirm that it was not scripted. I was involved in the process, and it took a very long time to plan everything out. You can also hear how nervous Spoke is when he's doing the social engineering part. Interestingly, there is a way better method to get the other person to run a command (Instead of giving Parrot a sign), namely force-opening a lectern GUI with clickevents after Parrot clicks a normal lectern on Lifesteal. I don't know why this method wasn't used, but at least there *exists* a method that would have a much higher chance of it working on other servers.
- 1:52 It is patched in 1.20 pre5, that's 100% true. When the glitch was performed, however, this update had not yet been released.
- 2:25 Parrot could've banned Spoke or taken away the items easily, I think that as well. One potential reason for why he didn't do it could simply be because it wouldn't be interesting to just take it away. It's content after all. But I can assue you that it wasn't scripted. If Parrot knew how he could get rid of Spoke, he refused to do it by his own choice. As a bit of context, there's also a policy that glitches are allowed up to a certain point, so maybe he couldn't ban Spoke because of the wording of this policy. On other servers, you'd get banned if you get caught.

Thanks for the comment, and the kind words about the video. :D I learned about this exploit from TheMisterEpic’s video originally, and then expanded my knowledge further about 3-4 months ago when it became mainstream in the Minecraft Prison Community as a unique escape. I was also attempting to get 2MB books on PaperMC using it as well. Then Spoke’s Wormhole series came out and a couple people suspected it was CSP.
Though I knew how CSP worked roughly, I must give some credit to MaximumG9 who originally brought this exploit to the attention of the Minecraft Prison Community and helped me get some information on how to set it up efficiently. I agree with the things you said, and that lectern method is interesting. Thanks for the info that it wasn’t scripted. It is still a very interesting exploit, with some pretty interesting properties!

Yes but you also have to consider this is a TH-camr SMP, the owner COULD just ban him but that wouldn’t really be fun for anyone. Also Spoke hid a chest full of gamebreaking items so if he was banned he could leak the cords the cords and the server would basically be destroyed either way. Great video tho really well put together and definitely deserves way more attention!

@@user-fi9cu4ms7z I dont understand what you mean, if the chest is leaked without the information being posted publicly select users could get the items and then disperse them. Alternatively there are other ways to have items be hid and automatically be dispersed when banned such as having players who are cooperating with you hand out the items without letting the owner know.

Bro didn’t unban himself because it wouldn’t have been good content. I don’t think it was scripted but I also think Parrot didn’t end it on purpose. Which I don’t have a problem with either cuz it was fire content either way 🤷♀️

not to mention the fact that csp was already public months before the wormhole and that tricking the admins doesnt really count as a new exploit
While not being entirely new getting an admin to type /op would be much harder than getting them to click a sign. There are also other ways to do this, instead of getting them to click a sign by trying to "show them an exploit" you could befriend an operator and get them to click a sign in a private world without letting them know what it does.

One of the admins for a private server I played on did this today and the server had to be restarted because of the mayhem this caused.

it was the servers final day before the next season (not 100% sure abt that but ig it was) so even if parrot banned spoke he would still be on the next season
If you try to teleport about more than 8 blocks, the packet will be rejected. (also, btw, even though you can't teleport through walls, you can teleport through roofs/ceilings)
Setting up a chain of command to tp you can basically make a speed hack, while not very powerfull is usefull.

what? I explained multiple flaws with spokes plan. All of which would prevent it from working completely, therefore debunking it. Its fundamentally flawed, but a unique and highly useful exploit. Just not in the way shown.
Parrot probably didnt ban Spoke because he thought it would be a good content idea, and also because Spoke could leak the locations of the wormhole barrels to the rest of the players

The things is it wasnt scripted because yhe only reason parrot didnt ban spoke is because then it would be boring in parrots opinion and he wanted an interesting fight, spoke mentions this in a wormhole vid after he bans Lifesteal Admin
Could this be possible in hypixel? Even if PLACED items are ghost blocks, what if someone was able to transfer in a new item like a banner, and crash lobbies. I’m sure hypixel has something in place to prevent it, but the fact that spoke had skyblock items transferred out makes me question if hypixel is safe from this.
Funny enough spoke has said he tried to do it in hypixel on stream, but it failed

No. Servers perform inventory validation if you aren't in creative mode. That's why the illegal items are ghost items - the client thinks that they're real, but the server does not. If servers didn't perform inventory validation then you would have a dupe that's very easy to perform: have your hacked client say "I have this item now" (of course modern server softwares won't let you do that)
seems mostly speculation although i do partially agree, and isn't /pardon something that command block can't run? (op perm lvl 4)
Idk but I wish there was more proof. Either way parrot never tried to ban him so it never mattered I guess.

@@Velocifyer check the wiki, any commands listed as op permission level 4 cannot be run by command blocks, including /op and /pardon (i think that's what you meant by /unban)
custom servers or maybe even a setting in vanilla might let you change this but i would imagine it would have to be a very deliberate choice, and something you wouldn't do unless specifically for an occasion like this

@@TechTalk360.I mean the only relevant respawn system nowadays is squilly because it’s so good. I think making an explanation on how to prevent dying in crawl mode or when the chunks are unloaded would genuinely be useful though, maybe even covering respawn anchors as that’s a bit more challenging.

I've managed to replicate the bug in 1.16.5 that without mods that actually allows the player to get items from the other server WITHOUT it being ghost blocks. What happens is when you join the servers, your inventory gets loaded from server 1, then you get redirected to server 2, but you keep the same inventory from server 1. Then, a simple relog to server 2 will allow you to play normally while keeping the inventory that was loaded from server 1.
This is possible but only in creative
oh i got banned on a random server during the beta versions that was CSPing everyone by mistake with this. I basically went into creative and carried some items over into survival lol.

This proves that parrot is just dumb and let it all happen as he thought it was fun and in spoke' s video it is clear that he tricked parrot into giving him op

2:32 actually, it WAS scripted. at the end of one of vitalisy’s videos he showed a discord screenshot of him saying the entire plan of the wormhole event, including how they would trick the public into thinking vitalisy and spoke were enemies, when they weren’t and were working together using the exploit

Uh what.? The server owner has access to the server console. Which has ultimate power over all the servers worlds and files. If that was a problem they would save a backup or ban them.
Spoke literally had repeating command blocks running that had /unban, so even if Parrot banned him he would immediately be unbanned...

he can turn command blocks off + they are off by default anyway + command blocks literally cannot run /pardon (/unban does not exist on this version) they are OP-level 4 and by default command blocks, once enabled, cannot run OP-level 4 commands.

spoke showed the 3 hearts guy his command stash, so he could grab the coords, the command blocks would get fucking nuked, and spoke would be pbanned

Its called content stupid. No this glitch is not a real threat but you don't need to make a video saying "Its just scripted". I hope you watched the whole video because there WAS reasons that he did not. 1. It is not fun for anyone, 2. Spoke had the items stashed. He could get the items off the server but it might include banning other players like the other wormholers. Just mind your own business you don't need to attack lifesteal.

I am glad you realize it's scripted and you put some good effort into your research. But all lifesteal videos are scripted for entertainment. Just enjoy the show. I thought more people would call them out for the arrow bouncing on pressure plate to locate the base. Like anyone would fire an arrow onto a moving piston and he immediately sealed it up, nothing fishing going on there. But then it seemed to be moved underground after that when it was above ground to start And I have found absolutely nothing about using an arrow to locate the player who shot it.

My opinion is that this exploit never existed in the first place. CSP is basically a worse form of a hacked client - it does all things hacks can do, but worse. If you've ever played with hacks before, you know that you can't get items out of thin air with them because the server doesn't acknowledge that those items actually exist.
