  • I bought a 2023 TRD Off Road Premium 4Runner in Lunar Rock. I have always been a fan of the 5th generation 4Runner and it has not disappointed on and off-road so far.

    Just bought the same rig with KDSS. They don’t all come blacked out with skid plate and pro rims, it’s cool you got that from the dealer.

    I have the exact same 4Runner color and the XP package except I have the XP predictor side steps. Can’t wait to see the mods you do.

      Twins! I took my side steps off. Planning on replacing with some rock sliders mounted to the frame. Thanks for the support!

    Congrats on your new toy, i have a 2016 4runner trail with kdss as my overland and daily driver, by far the best vehicle I've ever had. Have fun with her and remember to treat her right and she'll always bring you home. Be safe out there.

    I think that's illegal to have Pro floor mats in an Off Road, lol. I actually have A Pro Solar Octane 4-Runner and I really love that color, But I think Lunar Rock is my favorite color of all. Yours is a pretty bad ass rig though.

    the carolina's ? nice. probably wont have to worry about rust however. i would recommend getting parts of the truck covered in Paint protection film to protect against any rock chipping and off road battle scars.

      That is great advice! I have the hood and a few other spots covered but unfortunately not the front bumper which needs it the most.

    I hit a deer a month ago in my 2018tRD ORP. 73k miles almost paid off. And the body shops damage is at 34k. Insane. Had the KDSS also. Right now I’ll be driving a brand new one in Lunar rock as well. Kdss. And ever package you can get is on it. Exhaust and the MTM monitor system. I cant wait to see it. Gotta wait about a month. Congratulations on your truck. They are great vehicles. I had 0 problems with my last one

    I never understood the lift insanity with this rig. They run perfectly from the factory and won't hurt the needle bearings.

    • @ChanMan.
      @ChanMan.  ปีที่แล้ว

      I don’t want to lift the back at all. Just the front 2 inches to make it level. A lot of people lift it so they can run bigger tires though.

    • @hairydogstail
      @hairydogstail ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@ChanMan. It is hard on the needle bearings if you lift the front end and it serves no purpose..4 Runners will last a long time and go anywhere without front end mods..Unless you are very wealthy and into rock crawling, I would leave the 4 runner alone.. 4 runners are such a nice vehicle, I hate to see them abused for no reason other than looks..Another truth is a lifted 4 runner will not side hill as well as a factory one...

      I had the exact same.. took to dealer and they were able to fix it. They had to call the Toyota tech line which told them to loosen all the suspension components when doing the alignment or something then tighten everything back down. Was very strange. Hope this helps.

    Love the truck....but with the shackles not being able to be used for recovery, they really should be removed. They look silly. Plus they may just get caught on something.
